Hello colleagues, I was provided with a layer configured with attribute driven symbology. The symbology comes from a field where it has hex value. Looks pretty neat. Unfortunately when published and used in non ArcGIS applications, the symbology is being dropped by the application showing everything as one colour. I need to convert attribute driven symbology into unique values symbology but use the same colors. I am looking for non manual ways to do it. Is there a way?

Our users are looking for the same functionality as it is really hard to position map correctly when flying in aircraft.

Hello I have registered service from our portal (10.8.1) to ArcGIS Online with credentials saved. The service is a feature layer containing attachments. It displays fine on the map except that no attachments are visible. In the data tab on the item page on AGOL, I can see the field but it is greyed out and there are no option to change that.

thanks for your reply. We had only "add" in the settings for the feature layer. I have updated it now to include "Update" as well and now it works.

Hello, We are having problems when using Survey123 in browser and submitting a photo. Photo does not get saved to the feature service. If we use the app, no issues, photo gets saved and can be viewed. The survey in Portal, version 10.8.1. Googling did not show any similar errors or bugs. The survey is publicly share for simplicity of use, so browser might be preferred option (as no need to download the app). Image below is the data view of the feature service that survey uses. Some attachments are no there (shows as zero), however survey has photo as a compulsory field.

Hello, Not a developer and find it hard to work this out. I have this code: queryTask.execute(query, lang.hitch(this, function(results) { DataReport = array.map(results.features, function (feature) { Data= [feature.attributes["PLANNEDORCOMPLETED"],feature.attributes["AREAHA"],feature.attributes["ACTIVITYTYPE"],]; dataReport2.push(Data); }); })); feature.attributes["PLANNEDORCOMPLETED"] - is a field with coded domain, so my output looks like 1,2,3,1,2,3 (these are the values of the domain, see screenshot below). I can't work out how to replace numbers with actual descriptive values of the domain names. I am not necessary need to connect back to the dataset, even if I can add somewhere in my code: if 1, use "tomato, if 2, use "potato", etc. Not sure how and where... I also would like to add an extra row at the end to populate the sum of all numbers. I got the value for the sum but don't know how to add extra line in the Data variable. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello, I am using web app builder and in there, I am using Situational Awareness Report Widget. Recently, I can't use Add Tab button to add my layers for running the widget. it worked before. I tried Web App Builder in our Portal and also set up a Web App Builder Developer Edition hoping that the issue will go away. But no, I still can't use the button.

Hi David, No, I still don't know how to take the map offline with my not editable layers. The layers are in SDE (enterprise geodatabases), the sync is enabled when publishing. The layers are non versioned and have archiving enabled. When I publish the same layers with editable database connection, maps has "offline" option, with viewer database connection, with sync enabled, the offline option disappears.

I have map on Portal (10.8.1) with four editable layers. I need to add few layers for reference as not editable. Once I do that, the map no longer is able to be taken offline. The option on the map in FieldMaps "Add Offline Area" disappears. I tried adding not editable layers as MapServer or FeatureServer without editing. In both cases the option for "Add Offline Area" goes away. Is it by design? Is there a way to have not editable layers in a map and be able to "Add Offline Area"?

Hi @ShelleySchott This is now working as required. I've used your advice and run the tool "disable editor tracking" on all dataset. I then run the tool "enable editor tracking" and enabled user tracking with time in database time. I have also changed the service time zone to UTC (in arcgis server manager/parameters/Date Field Setting). After both of these changes, date/time displays in local time in Collector, web based maps and ArcGIS Pro. Thank you so much for your help!

Thank you @ShelleySchott I've have re-done the Editor Tracking via Geoprocessing Tools in ArcGIS Pro, I was able to set the Editor Tracking Time to database time. However when I use collector and create a new feature, the time is still 10 hours behind. When editing in a web map, the created time is in our local time zone.

Hello All, I am setting up my map to be used in Collector/Field Maps. The data is in sde and we are running Enterprise 10.7.1. The layers time is set to 'no time': The date/time comes from editor tracking field and the time there is set to UTC. Published service on ArcGIS Server, in service settings, Parameters, the Date Field Setting Time Zone is set to 'None'. I tried UTC and local time zone but it did not change the outcome. With these settings, when I view collected data in a web map or in ArcGIS Pro, the date/time is shown as local time. So if I added a point and checked right away in the web map, when it was created, it says 'just now. However, when I view the same point in Collector/Field Map, it say 10 hours ago (we are in +10 hours Time Zone). And no matter how I change the settings above, I can't get it to say 'just now' or few minutes ago (e.g. local time) for just now collected data. It keeps showing date/time in UTC. Is there a way to get Collector/Field map to display date/time as local time zone?

Hi, I usually set default values via setting in 'Manage Templates' option in ArcGIS Pro. Manage Templates are under Edit Tab -> Features. Look in the screenshots below for the following steps. Once the default value is set, the service needs to be republished to see the change. Hope this helps! Manage Template Setup Default value
