Registered services - photos are not dispalying

Hello

I have registered service from our portal (10.8.1) to ArcGIS Online with credentials saved.

The service is a feature layer containing attachments. It displays fine on the map except that no attachments are visible. In the data tab on the item page on AGOL, I can see the field but it is greyed out and there are no option to change that.
