There is really a need to assess the broader security implictions of this all or nothing approach. As an admin for a large higher education institution, I want to be able to enable this transfer ownership function, but I am resistant to because of security concerns. I don't have a problem with viewing all the users in our Org, which is another setting that needs to be enabled to support this. My biggest security concern is that by default users who have the setting enabled to "transfer content" can view all folders of any member in the Org. Users shouldn't be able to view the folder strucutre of any random user. There should be some sort of agreement between users to view folder structures. Maybe this is a separate idea from this current one, but there needs to be some sort of agreement to view how I've organized my folders/content. @PeterKnoop I support the idea of some sort of transaction messaging between the individuals in order to connect whether it's to support transfering of content or to view folder organization (as commented in this post) In the image below, this user has "transfer content permissions enabled" and was able to search any random user and see the names of their folders without their permission.

Will add this comment to that post as well.

Thanks @PeterKnoop ! This is exactly the information I was looking for. If they have completely left the University and/or no longer have access the the machine where they took the license offline, then we'll need to open a support ticket.

@BrianBaldwin - must a user check their offline license back in before the renewal date to prevent any issues/complications? What happens if they don't check it back in before the license renewal date?

Thanks @RichardHowe - I'll look at this more closely as an alternative solution.

I would like to be able to bulk delete groups as an administrator. Currently, there is no way on the "groups" page to select more than one group and take action on it. On the items/content page, one can do more with groups. I came across this while trying to delete many groups that were created with Community Analyst. I'd like to bulk delete these groups from the UI, but finding that there isn't an easy solution. The Community Analyst groups are easy to find as most of their descriptions contain "Community Analyst Project Group". Not sure if this was possible before the UI interface change where one now how to click on the "view details" button on the right side of the item, but finding I want to do more with groups than just one by one.

Agree. Finding that there are legacy files that had a delete protection assigned to them (old StoryMap Tour templates), but through the interface, there's now way to bulk disable the delete protection.

For our higher education institution we have a desire to have more control over who we allow to take licenses offline as well! We want to support as many users as possible, but we don't want to open it up to all users; only the ones who really need it and and understand the implications of taking an ArcGIS Pro license offline (e.g. if your have a license checked out, you cannot sign into another ArcGIS Pro on another computer. You must check it in first). We used to support offline licenses through Single-Use and Concurrent-Use licenses, but those are going away/gone so there is currently no easy way to allow a subset of users permission to take a licenses out into the field/ship/offline. Because we don't want to enable offline licensing for our entire campus, we are currently exploring the following options as a way to get around enabling access to all: Working with the user to "flip' the switch' to allow offline licenses for a few minutes, and then turning it off after the user confirms they have an offline license. However this can create complications for trying to check licenses back in. Creating a new local account for a member or a computer lab on a ship, and giving them access to an offline license in the same manner above. Would it be possible to support "offline licensing" as a permission that could be assigned to a Role? This would mean an administrator could leverage a Role to support offline licensing to a subset of users. Having some sort of control over offline licensing besides all or none is extremely desirable.

We recently setup a notebook to auto reallocate credits to university users who have suddenly used all their credits. I would like to customize the message that goes out to the user and admins stating that "their account should be reallocated with credits within 15 minutes". However at this time, I'm unable to customize that message so I'm still receiving a number of emails from patrons asking to have additional credits. If I could customize the automatic message from Esri, the end-user would know right away that they will have additional credits in 15 minutes. This will reduce their stress they encounter when working on an assignment or project.

As another ArcGIS Online organization with 4,000+ users, we are rapidly encroaching our feature storage limit (79%). In addition to seeing credit by user on the member user management, it would also be nice to set those limits for both feature storage or image storage (file storage). Another thing I'd like to add to storage quotas is actually displaying the storage usage of users in the member management window. Or at least enable this as a toggle to turn on or off. Yes, I can get some of those values from the Organizational Items report and do pivot tables, but it would be great to quickly access who are my largest storage users.

Thanks @PeterKnoop! I'll pass this information along. Yes, it's a 1-band raster of lines that they want digitized.

@BrianBaldwin - I had another one to add to this list--ArcScan. I have a student who needs to do large scale digitization of raster data to vector data. I found something that led me to ArcScan . It's an extension in ArcMap, but in other forums, it looks like there hasn't been any movement to include ArcScan in Pro.

This would be a great addition to support those students who are asked to create StoryMaps as a final project. The students have no/little GIS experience and won't necessarily use the ArcGIS Online side of things. This places the task of creating groups either on the professors or someone else to help create a group and set it up. Yes, the students can do so, but if they could create a group and identity the group members directly from the ArcGIS StoryMaps site, it would make using and sharing StoryMaps with others easier for all involved.

One functionality that I have someone looking for in ArcGIS Pro is the integration to a CAD surface modeler. Desktop has a very old plugin that exports directly 3D supported files to sketchup. It's a plugin that was created for version 9.X but has been working since then. It gives you the option to export any vector and raster data to a sketchup file with an option to add base height and extrusion from table fields.

Agree! This sometimes confuses many users who just want the export. They don't need/want another item in their AGO content.
