Plenty of people have already said it here and I'll say it again. Credits should never expire. I have to pay real money for credits. My money doesn't expire if I don't spend it within two years. And neither should my credits.

I had to uninstall and reinstall the same version (3.3) to fix the problem.

This looks like a potential solution from Esri Australia. https://esriaustraliatechblog.wordpress.com/2021/03/22/arcgis-enterprise-arcgis-online-use-distributed-collaboration-to-share-data/#more-9063 How can we change the collaboration settings to allow large size portal items to be shared as copies? Stop the Portal for ArcGIS Service Navigate to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\framework\webapps\arcgis#sharing\WEB-INF\classes\resources\ Open gw-config.properties in a text editor. Find the collaborations.max-item-size-in-MB=1024 property entry. Modify the value as needed. Save the file and close Restart the Portal for ArcGIS Service.

I need this too. Saving a copy of the map and creating a new map area is a low quality workaround. It seems like the only real options are 1) don't use preplanned offline map areas or 2) always have the same person update the offline areas and hope they never retire, change jobs, or go on vacation.

This is something I really need too. My work around is two copies of the layer in the TOC and different definition queries on each layer. Then I can use one layer in the legend and exclude the other.

I recently encountered this bug when importing a mxd in Pro. BUG-000146074 Synopsis: Importing a map document from ArcMap 10.8.1 into ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and 2.9.1 results in layers with feature exclusions. Description: Importing a map document in Pro results in layers with feature exclusion sets that did not exist in the original map document. These are layers that are typically created by selecting features and choosing Make Layer from Selected Features from the layer right-click menu. Steps to reproduce: Find or create a map document with at least one vector layer. Check the layer to make sure it is not a selection set. Close ArcMap and open Pro. Import the map document in Pro. Check the layer properties in the map table of contents. The source tab contains an information notification that the layer contains a subset of features. The Selection tab displays the Feature Exclusion Set and includes a checkbox to clear the list of excluded features.

I'm getting the same error message but under different circumstances. My map downloads and works fine until I sync. The sync sends collected data up to the server but doesn't pull down any changes from the server. Also, once I sync the map doesn't draw in Field Maps. I have to sign out of Field Maps, restart the app, and sign in again in order for the map to draw. Brian

I need to be able to navigate attachments in Pro from the parent table to the related attachment table and back to the parent table. This is standard relates and relationship class functionality, but it doesn’t work with the attachment relationship class or a relate created in the map. This functionality is available in ArcMap and was available in Pro until the 2.4 release. Scenario: I have field workers conducting inspections. Some inspections require photos. These photos are collected as attachments. Sometimes field workers complete the inspection but forget to take a photo and need to identify which locations were missed in order to return and take the photo. There are approximately 1,500 inspection locations per event. The ArcMap workflow is: Add the feature class and the attachment table to a map. Create a relate based on the same fields as the attachment relationship class. Select all records in the feature class and use that selection to select related records in the attachment table. Use the selected records in the attachment table to select records in the feature class. This gives me all the records in the feature class that have an attachment. Switch the feature class selection. This gives me all the records in the feature class that don’t have an attachment. Use select by attributes to remove records that don’t need photos. The remaining selection is the list of features than need an attachment but don’t have one. This is the list that my field workers need in order to return and take the required photo. Please consider enabling this workflow in Pro. Thank you!

Is anybody else having problems exporting a layout to pdf in Pro 2.6 if there is a .tif image in the layout? My organization uses a .tif image for the logo on our organization templates. I created these templates (.pagx files) specifically for use in Pro several years ago using Pro 1.x. They've worked great, until just a few days ago when I upgraded to Pro 2.6. Now the export creates a pdf but it is damaged and can not be repaired or opened. Exporting to the .aix format also appears to fail. This problem appears to be limited to just .tif images in the layout. I've tried using .bmp, .gif, .jpg, and .png images, all successfully. I've also tried using various .tif images, all unsuccessfully. If I include a .tif image in the layout and export to the .tif format instead of pdf, it works. Using a georeferenced .tif in the map shown on the layout exports to pdf just fine.

In ArcGIS Pro 2.1, unchecking the ‘Make newly added layer visible by default’ box under ‘Options > Map and Scene’ disables the ability to preview feature class geometry in the Catalog View. I propose that previewing a feature class in Catalog View should always display the geometry for the following reasons. Since this setting is found under ‘Map and Scene’ it’s reasonable to expect that it only applies to maps and scenes. Previewing a feature class in Catalog View is fundamentally different from a workflow standpoint than adding that same feature class to a map or scene.

I’ve seen this behavior in Pro 2.1 too. You can restore the Preview functionality in the Catalog View by going to Options>Map and Scene and checking the box to Make newly added layers visible by default.

I can add the app to the app launcher by editing the config.js file but when I click on the app it returns a 404: Page not found error. Additional configuration appears required but I can't find any documentation online.
