These are the exact steps that I followed but after double-clicking the feature layer, nothing is in it. States the "contents are empty". It's extremely bizarre! I will reach out to Esri

Our organization has reached a dilemma. After much effort, trial, and tweaking we were able to successfully publish a parcel fabric to our newly created Portal. After doing so, the last step was to double-click on the parcel fabric feature layer and then bring in the service into a ArcGIS Pro map but when double-clicking on the feature layer, there isn't any contents. There were no errors when publishing, everything was registered, and it successfully ran. There is a feature layer in my content but it looks like the data did not carry over. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sue: You basically just need to add the Embedded Content dashboard element and specify a layer to use rather than a static type so you can add url parameters. After that, you can filter out content by adding a filter on that particular layer (don't show null values or something like that) and then choose the Document Content Type. Paste your ArcGIS Online Web App URL in the URL text area Notice you have an option to add a particular field from the layer that you originally chose. The URL parameter should look something like this: https://<your portal url>.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0462e8f1873c4d7d9edad335caae3007&find={field1} Choose the field you want to search by using the find= parameter. IMPORTANT: All query parameters must be encoded, and the Search widget must be enabled in the app to use this parameter. More parameters can be found here: Use URL parameters—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | Documentation Hope this helps! -Jarom

That is good to know Phil. We are currently using version 3.3.64. We will make sure that we upgrade to the newest version 3.5 when it comes out to check out the improvements.

Thanks Michael! How exactly does someone go about doing this for the 1st bulleted item you have above? That is very intriguing to me.

It would be nice to have operations dashboard on-premise utilizing your own IIS web server (or other) consistent with the way that Web AppBuilder for Developers works. Having the ability to create your own dashboards and further customize them with your own development would be a huge leap for us! Deploying Web AppBuilder for Developers locally enables you to customize themes and create your own widgets. Having operation dashboards built off of the same environment would allow customization to themes, elements, and who knows what else Please consider this in future updates.

Michael, The dashboards have to consume a web map with services which can have ArcGIS Server layers so yes, it would have to go through ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS. We use ArcGIS Server services for our dashboards. It would be nice to host the dashboards on your local server rather than relying on Portal or ArcGIS Online. Thanks, Jarom

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I have a repeat that calculates certain fields and based on that field I want to aggregate and sum up all of the users input. I can successfully do this with the aggregate sum function; However, if the user does not provide an input for that integers field, this aggregate sum function does not populate. Is there a way to assign a default value to the aggregate field of zero so at least the calculation can proceed?

I have been using the Operations Dashboard desktop software for quite some time. I'm now migrating over to the new version; however, it's a little more difficult to understand. What I am trying to do may not be possible in the online environment. I created a serial chart (bar graph) for a feature category such as "Maintenance" and the graph shows exactly what I want it to show separated out into categories but I'm trying to click on one of those categories in the chart and have it highlight/select and zoom to the data in the map. Is this a possibility? It is in the desktop version but I may not be looking in the right spot in the online version. Any help would be appreciated!

I have finally found some time to play with this a little bit. The workflow that you have described indeed works when you are selecting a single or multiple items in the list itself but in my case, I am trying to simply link the List items to a seperate Indicator panel to show only the Count of how many list items there are. This I have accomplished but the separate panels do not coincide with one another when I go from one List to another. I have several List panels and several Indicator panels. As I switch between List panels, I would like the Indicator panels to come along for the ride so I have a clear count of how many items are in that particular List. I’d be happy to demo this to further explain my situation
