In ArcGIS Server Manager, be able to filter ArcGIS Server Logs by User ID and also be able to create statistics by User ID. In speaking with Esri Tech support this is not possible currently and not planned for ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2. It is also not possible using ArcGIS Monitor. Usage stats like this would be helpful in identifying customers that may be underutilizing our map services.

Currently I am using two feature layers in my web app and using the group filter widget to filter the layers by date range. We are experiencing lag issues, so I wanted to try using map image layers. However, when I use a map image layer, the group filter widget does not recognize that it is a date field and does not display today's date and does not display a calendar picker when clicking on the date. Instead the user must manually enter a date. I don't know if there is possible code I could add to force tell it that it is a date field. In the config file it lists the layer with a ".0" after it. When using the feature layer, it displays the date and allows me to choose from the calendar if I want to change the date. I am using WAB Developer edition 2.26 and Portal 10.9.1.

I am using the Group Filter widget with date fields. There is a point layer and a polygon layer in the web app. I don't want any restrictions on the point layer date range. However, the polygon layer has millions of polygons, so I want to limit the date range search to 30 days for the polygon layer. I also don't want the user to be able to make the polygon layer visible without first doing a filter (via the group filter widget). I have set up the Group Filter widget like so (see screenshot). I am using WAB Dev Edition 2.19. Currently, I have it set up so that when the user conducts a group filter, it automatically makes visible the point layer but not the polygon layer (code is in the Widget.js file). The user still has the option to turn on the polygon layer, but this is still causing lag issues on our system. So that is why I want to implement the above checks. this._applyFilter(layer.layerObject, newExp, false);
//}
//layer.layerObject.setVisibility(true);
if(layer.id === "Poly_layer_Portal_5214"){
layer.layerObject.setVisibility(false);
}
else{
layer.layerObject.setVisibility(true);
}

Please add "Default Author" setting to the Attribute Table configuration. The print widget has this and the author is printed on the printed image/PDF. When the user selects Export all to CSV, the default author data could be added to the end of the data in the CSV. This would be nice because if you share the data, the end recipient would have documentation of the source of the data.

I am having this issue as well using Portal 10.8.1 but with using a CSV file. As a workaround I figured out I can use the Geo Lookup widget. I didn't want to enrich any of the layers because there are too many polygons, so I removed the layers from the Geo Lookup widget config file (using Web AppBuilder Dev Edition). },

Is there a way to configure the attribute table widget in Web AppBuilder Dev edition to add text to the CSV when a user selects "Export all to CSV?" Basically I want to add some data source information after the data in the CSV file.

As the above user stated: "One of the small issues with this method is that - the features that aren't shown on the map are still selectable (even though they are invisible), and will produce a popup." I am trying to filter a map service with thousands of points, so almost every time I click on a part of the map a popup is still produced, even though most of the points are invisible.

I have a couple web apps I created using WAB Developer Edition 2.14. We use several map services from different govt organizations. When one of the map services is down, the web app tries for at least a minute to try to load all of the map services until finally it give a message like "x layer cannot be added to the map." The web app screen is stuck like the attached screenshot for at least a minute. Is there any way to code the web app to tell it to stop trying to load the downed map service after, say 10 seconds? Thank you.

We just migrated to a Windows 2019 server and c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\scripts\propy.bat kept failing immediately. I tried your suggestion of c:\Progra~1\ and it worked. Thanks!

I found an example on the Calculate Field examples expression = "arcpy.time.ParseDateTimeString(!DATE_UTC!) + timedelta(days=-0.25)" This worked for me. Thanks!

Thanks Michael. I tried that but I get error: TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'str' and 'float' I double checked the field type for DATE_UTC and it is a Date field. I am guessing that expression will not work with Python. But it looks like you are right in that we are trying to force a format on a field with a record that does not match that format. I will do some more research. I think I may have to use an insert cursor method so that it can check each record before calculating.

Hello. I have the following code that works fine when there is not a record with a date/time of midnight. However today I came across a record at a time of midnight and it breaks the script. Is there a way around this? Thank you. I have provided a screenshot of the attributes. Both fields are date fields. Error: ValueError: time data '12/16/2019' does not match format '%m/%d/%Y %I:%M:%S %p' # Add CST date/time field
print ("Adding CST date field")
arcpy.AddField_management(mergedFCSquaresDis, "DATE_CST", "Date")
expression = "datetime.strptime(!DATE_UTC!,'%m/%d/%Y %I:%M:%S %p') + timedelta(hours=-6)"
arcpy.CalculateField_management(mergedFCSquaresDis, "DATE_CST", expression, "PYTHON_9.3")

I am migrating my application to the ArcGIS API for JS Version 4.13 from Version 3.15. I would like to return a point so that I may use it in a query task. My old code was: query.geometry = addressPoint; I am not sure how to obtain this from using the Search widget: var searchWidget = new Search({ view: view, container: "searchWidget", popupEnabled: false }); searchWidget.on('search-complete', function(result){ console.log(result) }); Thank you.
