From the example: http://gmaps-utility-gis.googlecode.com/svn/tags/agsjs/latest/examples/toc.html , I added autoToggle: false //whether to automatically collapse when turned off, and expand when turn on for groups layers. default true. in the TOC layer's code. However, in my application, this function does work. Besides, how to set the layer as checked-off initially in the TOC? Thanks if you can help.

I found my mistake in my post. The correct way is to cast a line feature of a featureclass as an IPolyline: ESRI.ArcGIS.Geometry.IPolyline pLine = (ESRI.ArcGIS.Geometry.IPolyline)feature.ShapeCopy; Thanks for your review.

I need to cast a featureclass to IPolyline. In this piece of code below IFeatureClass fcR = gHelp.GetFeatureClass(pWS2, fNameR); ESRI.ArcGIS.Geometry.IPolyline refLine = fcR as ESRI.ArcGIS.Geometry.IPolyline; the IPolyline refLine is null. What's wrong in this piece of code? Thanks if you can help.

I tried 2 things: 1) Run the code sourced from ESRI (see attached). The query returned > 100 features and populated on the left pane's Grid. 2) Go to the service site: http://trainingcloud.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/Redlands_PointsOfInterest/MapServer/0, and run the query: where: NAME Like '%Redlands%' Geometry Type: Envelope Out fields: OBJECTID, NAME, Match_addr, TEL, TYPE Spatialo relationship: Contains Or use the link http://trainingcloud.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/Redlands_PointsOfInterest/MapServer/0/query?where=NAME+Like+%27%25Redlands%25%27&text=&objectIds=&time=&geometry=&geometryType=esriGeometryEnvelope&inSR=&spatialRel=esriSpatialRelContains&relationParam=&outFields=OBJECTID%2C+NAME%2C+Match_addr%2C+TEL%2C+TYPE&returnGeometry=true&maxAllowableOffset=&geometryPrecision=&outSR=&returnIdsOnly=false&returnCountOnly=false&orderByFields=&groupByFieldsForStatistics=&outStatistics=&returnZ=false&returnM=false&gdbVersion=&returnDistinctValues=false&f=html which results in only 12 records. Tried several times with the same results on both cases. Can someone explain why? Thanks. My Template Name Address Find Features Created by J. Doe

In a TOC panel, I added several Operational Layers by the piece of code below: var sliderTOC = new agsjs.dijit.TOC({ map: map, layerInfos: [{ layer: operational1, title: "by Site", noLayers: true }, { layer: operational2, title: "by Zip", noLayers: true }, { layer: operational3, title: "Distribution", noLayers: true }], style: 'inline' }, 'sliderDiv'); sliderTOC.startup(); I expected legend displays for all of the layers. However, on the displayed page, legend displays only for the last added layer. How can this problem be debugged? Thanks.

In a TOC panel, there are several Operational Layers, each one has a checkbox. I added these layers by the piece of code below: var sliderTOC = new agsjs.dijit.TOC({ map: map, layerInfos: [{ layer: operational1, title: "by Site", noLayers: true }, { layer: operational2, title: "by Zip", noLayers: true }, { layer: operational3, title: "Distribution", noLayers: true }], style: 'inline' }, 'sliderDiv'); sliderTOC.startup(); Initially, one of the feature layer is on and others are off, I want to add a such a function that when I click one of the checkbox, this layer is on and other layers are off. Where and how can a piece of code be added to implement this function? Thanks for your help.

I created a simple JS application. I used the BaseMap gallery component as posted at Basemap gallery | ArcGIS API for JavaScript . I got 2 problems: 1) When the page is loaded, the operational layers are loaded but no basemap is loaded. 2) When I click the Switch Basemap button and select a basemap, the basemap is loaded but the operational layers become invisible (I guess they are overlaid by the basemap layer. Now, I want to have a piece of code that 1) the basemap displays in the initial; 2) the operational layers are always above the basemap 3) the basemap's opacity is set below 1 (e.g. 0.7). Thanks if you can help.

Susan: Wonderful! Per your advisory, I substituted the Add Join tool by the Make Query Table tool. Then, it went through in publishing it as a map service. Thanks.

I tried to publish a dynamically generated layer as a map service. This dynamic layer is generated through a ModelBuilder that consists of a Add Join tool. In the map service publishing, I received the error: 00099: Layer has a join with an unsupported data source. I believe that that is due to the use of an In-Memory FC (unsupported data source). Through google, I could not find any discussion to avoid/eliminate this problem. Do you know how? Appreciate if you can share your experience.
