Hi Chris, Specifying the NoData value will allow you to control the pixel depth and the value that will store NoData. If a NoData value is not specified, the program will find an empty value to use as the NoData placeholder, which may not be desired or expected. Here is what you could try before running Raster Math. 1. Check your input rasters (grayscale bands). Note the values of NoData pixels (e.g. the dark background). 2. Open Reclassify (Spatial Analyst). Change the background value (e.g. 0 in my case) to NoData. Remove all other entries. You could use ModelBuilder/ArcPy to batch process it. 3. Use these output raster for Raster Math. Let me know if it solves your issue. Thanks, Jay

Hi Robert, The layer file (.lyr) only stores only the link to the shapefile/feature class along-with symbology. Unless you have a backup data, you could you could retrieve the deleted files using third-party data recovery software. There is no tool to retrieve the deleted shapefile. 18 Free Data Recovery Software Tools (February 2015) Regards, Jay

Hi Johan, It should show the values without the "-" sign. Make sure your system Regional Date setting is in same format. And CalculatedEndDate is in Long datatype. Considering the due date is same for all records, any value more than the CalculatedEndDate is overdue. Change the symbology accordingly. Thanks, Jay

Hi Johan, Thank you for the information. You can create a new field with datatype Long in attribute table. In its field calculator, paste the following Int (Left( [EndDate], 4 ) & Mid( [EndDate], 6, 2 ) &Right( [EndDate], 2 ) ) Then use the above field to symbolize the data. Note: The EndDate Format is in YYYY-MM-DD format. The field name of your EndDate field is "EndDate". Hope it will solve the issue. Thanks, Jay

Hi Matthew, You could change orientation the symbology of the point files, thus generated from Geotagged photos to points. First, fill a field with the values of direction (0-360). Take Arrow up as the symbol for the points. Then go to Layer Properties > Symbology > Symbol (Click Advanced > Rotation). Rotate points by value in this field > Drop-down to select the field . Select Geographic radio-button. Thanks, Jay

Hi Jaime, An alternative of Merge tool could be Append (Data Management). Keep in mind, Append tool will not create a new output feature class. So, you need to create a new feature class in ArcCatalog, with same schema as your data (Import Coordinate system, and Field attributes). Then continue with Append tool. ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) Thanks, Jay

Hi Jody, For this you can use linear referencing. First convert the River polylines to routes using the create Route tool ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) , and then use the Locate features along routes tool ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) to write the route and measure information to a new event table. Note: Use the measurements same as the unit of the coordinate system of your map. Thanks, Jay

Go to Start > Run, type in the command below and click ok: %AppData%\ESRI\Desktop10.3\ArcToolbox How big is the ArcToolbox.dat file? If it is over several MB in size, rename it to ArcToolboxOld.dat and try again. Thanks, Jay

Hi Tharaka, The scale of the data frame seems to be fixed. Go to Data frame properties (e.g. Layers) from Table of Contents. Click on Data frame tab. Drop down the Extent to Automatic. Click OK. This should solve the issue Thanks, Jay

Hi Rui, The Analyze button on the Service Editor helps you identify potential performance bottlenecks and errors that you will need to address before you can publish your GIS resource as a service. Analyze Map in ArcMap helps you to improve the drawing performance of your ArcMap documents by generating a list of potential display performance issues. e.g.: A 3D symbol could go fine with ArcMap. But when we are publishing a Map Service, a warning might pop-up. Thanks, Jay
