Hi Siyang, If you want to fill the sink, you could use Fill (Spatial Analyst) tool on the original DEM. Thanks, Jay

Hi Fan, It seems to be a Low Registry space issue... Go to Start > Type "regedit" In Registry editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control Key: RegistrySizeLimit Type: REG_DWORD Value: 0xffffff (4294967295) If the problem still persists, you could refer to the Esri Technical Arcticle or contact the Esri Technical Support. Thanks, Jay

No problem at all... Spatial Join (One-to-Many) would give you the same answer as Identity. All the best. Thanks, Jay

Hi Dave, I don't have knowledge on Directional derivetives. Check the link below, which also mentions computation of directional derivative in ArcGIS (they used ver. 8.x), Arc8.1 ArcMap Commands for Computing USPED using GIS Hope it is helpful! Thanks, Jay

Hi Arun, The LS factor would be displayed by the pixel values of your LS_Factor raster data. To build a Raster attribute table, the data should be a Single Band Integer Raster Dataset. But your LS_Factor data is in Float. You could try reclassifying the LS_Factor dataset into a number of desired classes. It will create a new output with an attribute table. N.B.: Make a note of the range of values you are reclassifying in each class. Hope it helps! Thanks, Jay

Hi Gob, First of all, you can use Identity (Analysis) tool for these two layers (Input feature: Vegetation; Identity Feature: Unemployment_rate). Then open the symbology (Layer Properties > Symbology) of the resulting Identity_layer. Import the symbology of the Unemployment_rate layer (see example below). Thanks, Jay

Hi Amy, You could try this workaround. 1) Add a field (Text) to the polygon layer. Define same value to all the rows using field calculator (say "A"). 2) Use Split (Analysis) tool. Use the polyline layer as the input layer. And the polygon layer as the output layer. In split field, select the text field you just created. And select a workspace for your output. Let me know if it resolves your issue. Thanks, Jay

Hi Tyler/Bjarne, What coordinate system are you using for the given dataset? What is the extent of your area? You could use a projection system with True Area (e.g. Mercator)

Hi Kenric, Firstly, copy your database to a different location. Open the MXD (Map document) you are working on. File > Save as > [Backup_Map.mxd] Change the database connection of the new MXD to the new Database Layer Properties > Set Data Source. Define the location of the feature class in the new database. Optionally, Go to File > Map Document Properties Check "Store relative Pathnames to data sources. Save the map again. Close it. Work on your older database. Next time, you can just overwrite the backup_database only. Thanks, Jay

Hi, You could follow the following workflow. 1) Add 3 fields to the polyline layer, viz., Length (in meters), Start_X (X Coordinate/Longitude of Starting point), and Start_Y (Y Coordinate/Latitude of Starting point) using Calculate Geometry in the attribute table. 2) Export the attribute table to a table file (e.g. *.dbf) 3) In ArcCatalog, create XY point feature class from the above table file. Define a GCS spatial reference. 4) Reproject the shapefile to a projected coordinate system (e.g. UTM). 5) Use Buffer (Analysis) tool to build the Circles, as desired. Note: We are reprojecting the points to PCS, so that the buffer takes up linear units (meters) and not angular units (Degree Decimal). I hope it solves your issue. Thanks, Jay
