Hi Almaz, You could try the following, if it suits your need. 1) Add a new field to attribute table (say "Mod_Code" with datatype=Short Integer). 2) Open Field Calculator of the above field, Parser = Python (see code below) Symbolize the layer categorically, with Value_field "Mod_Code". This would symbolize your whole layer in 4 colors. Thanks, Jay

Hi Angela, Check if the data frame is available in the layout view. If not, add a new data frame from Insert Data Frame, copy thelayer from old data frame to new data frame in Table of Contents. Adjust the margin of the new data frame, as desired, in layout view. Thanks, Jay

Hey Guys, I am trying to install Portal for ArcGIS (PFA) 10.3.4322.1 in my laptop [HP- ZBook; Intel Core i7, 2.70 GHz; 32 GB RAM; Windows 8 Pro, x64; WORKGROUP]. No proxy configuration. I have successfully installed ArcGIS 10.3 Server and Web adaptor 10.3, and configured ArcGIS Server with Web Adaptor. All the required ports have been allowed through firewall. And SSL has also been bound to port 443 with a self-signed certificate. But, soon after the installation of PFA, the Portal for ArcGIS site (https://localhost:7443/arcgis/home) is invoked, but it ends up with "Unable to connect" page. Tried replacing localhost with the Computer name. The site is not opening even from the Windows start menu. I have tried both I.E. 10 and Firefox 36. Therefore, I am not able to define the Initial Administrator Account. What am I missing? Please guide. Thanks, Jay

Hi Shawn, You can try 1) Define two distinct color ramps for the two layers. 2) Keep Customer layer above the WiFi_Hotspot layer. * You can also play with the transparency of layers. Thanks, Jay

Hi Justin, Instead of connecting with a connector, you can double-click the Cell-Statistics tool in the model builder. Then add the two Rasters (Output_Values_1 and Output_Values_2) to Input Rasters... Hope it helps, Thanks, Jay

Hi Filip, After changing the Server machine name, you could have just uninstalled and reinstalled the IIS components from Control Panel. That should work. If it doen't work, reinstall ArcGIS Server after the above steps. Thanks, Jay

Hi Adam, You can start with Multiple Ring Buffer (Analysis) for Layer 1. Keep Dissolve option as NONE. Then use Spatial Join (Analysis). Target Feature: Layer2. Join Feature: Buffer Layer Join Operation: JOIN_ONE_TO_MANY Match Option: COMPLETELY_WITHIN Hope it would resolve your issue. Thanks, Jay

Hi Siyang, As far as I know, the output of the Sink tool is an integer raster with each sink being assigned a unique value. Sinks are numbered between one and the number of sinks. The values of the output Raster do not represent the depth, but the sink number. One sink may have multiple pixels.

Hi Dan, Thanks for replying. 1. Tried both typing the values as well as selecting the expression. Didn't work out. 2. Converting it to decimal has worked, but with certain workaround. After creating a new Field (Double Datatype), I used Field Calculator, which gave me the following values Selecting by Attribute with the value 3.1 doen't work here. So I used the expression by clicking the value in Get Unique Values. After the selection is done, I used Field Calculator on the selected records, and just typed 3.1 on it. Now, If I type the value 3.1 in the expression, the records get selected. However Clicking on Get Unique Value gives a value (See snapshot) But, if I manually enter 3.1, it still works. 3. And > < works on the float value, but nor the = sign. So thanks a lot. Don't know that's the issue with Float.

Hi Alex, Are you able to open ArcMap on your laptop using the borrowed licenses? The snapshot is showing the borrow period is 0 days. If the borrowing period is over, the licenses have already been returned to the earlier License Manager. Moreover, if available, licenses can only be returned when you are connected to the same LM from which the licenses were borrowed. Thanks, Jay

Hello guys, Recently I have been facing an issue. I have a shapefile. In its attribute table, I have a field (Float datatype). When I use select by attribute for a floating point (e.g. <Field_Name = <Value>), no records are returned (snapshot attached). This issue is occurring with the values with decimal values. Adding those values into a text field is a workaround, but I want to understand what's causing this issue? I am using ArcGIS 10.2 for Desktop Basic. Windows 7 Ent. SP1. Any Help? Thanks, Jay

Hi Siyang, If you want to fill the sink, you could use Fill (Spatial Analyst) tool on the original DEM. Thanks, Jay
