Michael, I think you nailed it. I was able to reproduce this as well. I then added a TNS entry that duplicated the original, minus the first two characters of the TNS Name, and it worked.

Using ArcGIS Pro 2.1.1 with Oracle 12.1.0.2, I get the following error when I try to look at the GeoDatabase Connection Properties: The connection works fine and I can do just about anything else with the GDB. The TNS as not an issue so it appears that it is an invalid error message...

Thanks Dan. After poking around a little bit, I realized that Docker was set up to use my email as the default log in account instead of my login ID. I ran "docker login" to change the Username, and Password, and then everything worked for me. $ docker login Login with your Docker ID to push and pull images from Docker Hub. In Additional server deployment—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise , it states that: "When configuring a spatiotemporal big data store, it is recommended that system architects plan a data storage ring consisting of at least three machines", along with the image that is attached. I don't see anything that indicates that I can create a Data Store Site... is this as simple as just adding 3 separate Data Store servers to the hosting server? Does ArcGIS Server know to immediately identify which servers it will use for replication as described in Big Data: GeoEvent & GeoAnalytics, Leveraging the Spatiotemporal Big Data Store - YouTube (around the 7:55 mark). Does anyone know why "werl" runs non-stop on my ArcGIS Data Store server? It's mostly at 5% of CPU or less, but sometimes it jumps up to 25%. This is for Tile Cache store only. It doesn't seem to run on the other Data Store servers.

Thanks for the info Niccole. Unfortunately I don't have any logs - this was for a DEV environment so I really wasn't paying too much attention during the upgrade. But the one thing that I did do was follow Jonathan's instructions in to clear up the GeoAnalytics server from Portal during the upgrade. https://community.esri.com/thread/195436-unfederate-arcgis-server-site-that-no-longer-exists -Ryan

So it looks like the problem was in Portal.. I had to uninstall and reinstall it to get things working. I'm sure there might have been another way especially if there were maps/apps etc... but fortunately I didn't have anything too valuable in there. I think that the moral of the story would be to unfederate before upgrading from now on.

I am unable to add a GeoAnalytics server in ArcGIS Portal 10.5.1 (see attached screenshot). This worked in 10.5... The server federates without any issues, and it is licensed as a GeoAnalytics Server. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, -Ryan
