Really neat, we would prefer to use MQTT Feeds for streaming our custom geospatial entities extracted from various ELT workflows into Velocity and receive the analytics results as a stream back into our serverless environment.

We are currently running in some issues with Geoprocessing Packages created with ArcGIS Pro 2.6.3. The input parameters representing features as a Feature Set are somehow misinterpreted as GPString by the Runtime Local Server. When we create our Geoprocessing Packages with ArcMap 10.8 the packages are correctly loaded into the runtime apps and the input parameter is shown as Feature Set. Are there any best practices regarding "Prepare your Geoprocessing Models for Runtime Apps with ArcGIS Pro"? First issue we have seen some weeks ago: Runtime Local Server: Input Feature Set is shown as GPString

We are having some trouble creating Geoprocessing Packages using ArcGIS Pro. The Local Server does not recognize Input Feature Sets. Would you be so kind and take a look at the following post in the ArcGIS Runtime Qt section. Input Feature Set is shown as GPString

We could not reproduce this in ArcMap 10.8.1. Is ArcGIS Pro creating incompatible Geoprocessing Packages? Any help would be appropriated.

We have implemented a bunch of Azure Serverless Functions using C# and F#. We haven't seen any SDK or customization option for extending ArcGIS Velocity using future proof .NET Core technologies. Is there any user story targeting the need of custom serverless functions for extending ArcGIS Velocity?

We started using the Runtime Local Server 100.9 for a kind of Proof of Concept for our GEOINT platform v-next. The GEOINT officer use case describes a workflow where a GEOINT analyst is creating a Geoprocessing package using ArcGIS Pro Intelligence (based on ArcGIS Pro 2.6.3) and delivers this Geoprocessing package to all the clients having a ArcGIS Runtime 100.9 based app and the local server deployed. The GEOINT officer is doing his INTEL work to gain some insights from various offline geospatial analysis and is creating a detailed INTEL report. In the past we used ArcMap 10.6 for creating the Geoprocessing packages and used Feature_Set input params as input. Starting with ArcGIS Pro Intelligence the input params are always shown as GPString. I have attached a simple .gpkx file. Maybe we need to adjust some style definition or configuration for making it work. Thanks in advance.

@Anonymous User : We are doing a kind of Proof of Concept for the GEOINT platform v-next and wanted to address OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) workflows by using Azure Functions build upon future ready .NET Core technology. As far as I can judge it, ArcGIS Velocity is build upon the Java/Scala enterprise stack. How would you integrate Geospatial Services from ArcGIS Velocity into an already existing Azure Functions serverless .NET Core based architecture? e.g. streaming of geometries as binary data into ArcGIS Velocity possible? Is there any plan to integrate custom inputs, processors, outputs into ArcGIS Velocity by using .NET Core? Hint: We see a lot of development teams moving away from the Java/Scala enterprise stack to .NET Core especially for serverless workflows in the cloud, Azure and AWS Lambda are supporting it as a first class option and .NET Core easily outperforms Java, Go and NodeJS at least the tests we did on our own for both cloud platforms.

We just ran into a situation where the Qt app is constructing an invalid "where clause" and the underlying web error need to be handled. For instance, when querying a "date field" we have to use the "event_date = DATE '2020-02-29' " or "event_date = TIMESTAMP '2020-02-29 00:00:00' " SQL expressions. So when we were using the UNIX timestamp directly like "event_date=1582934400" the REST endpoint returned: { "error" : { "code" : 400, "message" : "Cannot perform query. Invalid query parameters.", "details" : [ "Unable to perform query. Please check your parameters." ] } } The FeatureTable::queryFeaturesCompleted slot is called and gets an uninitialized FeatureQueryResult instance. We took a look at the current ArcGIS Runtime .NET implementation and the runtime is throwing a web exception wrapping the returned details. Is it possible to get the underlying web error by using the current Qt implementation?

As a geospatial engineer I want to filter all date fields using UNIX timestamps like it is expected by the time instant and time extent parameters. So that, I can easily query and filter the features using UNIX timestamps without validating any security issues related to SQL injection by using DATE and TIMESTAMP expressions. Currently, we have to use the DATE and TIMESTAMP expressions. Please, show some love to the query capabilities of the REST API. event_date=TIMESTAMP '2020-02-29 00:00:00' => Succeeded event_date=1582934400 => Failed
