Hi @ChelseaRozek Thanks for your idea. I would like to have a basemap far out and switched to an aerial as they zoom in close. Unfortunately, this isn't possible at the moment. you can choose to have different basemaps for different map cards. You will need to select the card and change the basemap going to the basemap gallery. *Note that it will change the basemap for all the cards if you don't select a map card first. I had to convert my parcels to points to get the workbook to load. My users will want to see the parcel polygons when zoomed in so they know their extent even if they aren't used directly in any other analysis. It will be a mess if they're turned on for all zoom levels Although we don't have the option to change scale-dependent visibility in Insights, we honor it if it is applied to your hosted features service. You may have to do this from the portal setting of your layer. If you are using a living atlas layer or data from a database then I will recommend turning off the visibility of the layer by clicking the icon on the map. I understand that it is an additional click but it will help the map to load faster. Under the zoom tools on a map card, you should also be able to store a default extent.

@SebFischer Thanks for elaborating. We certainly can't hide/lock the header bar but it makes sense to give an option to users to lock the sorting. I acknowledge your troubles in explaining what the analysis is doing, though, the information on the tools is not shared to protect the attributes and field names you are using. I will discuss both but I think the latter one needs additional discussion and has less potential to change.

@ChelseaRozek I think a Filter (2023.3) or predefined filter (<2023.3) widget on the address field would be your way forward. The filter has a search bar on the top where users can search. You can find the filter widget here: Let me know if that helps

@TrafficOpsGIS Thanks for reviving this with your comment. Can you please share a use case so that I can understand the need further and take it for further consideration? In most cases when using ArcGIS Insights, visualization on the maps shows a holistic view of the analysis which can be filtered and cross-filtered by other cards to narrow them down. The locator box to search and address is seldom needed in these scenarios.

@SebFischer I would like to understand the use case to lock the card headers or the analysis view. The card header contains the tools/buttons that are core to the card and are necessary to support accessibility, Keyboard navigation, and narration. It also contains a Filp card button which will let you see the card description and statistics. For describing your analysis you have a couple of options. 1. You can create a Text and Media widget card to describe your analysis 2. You can add more information on the back of the card. Look at some of the examples in the Sample Gallery. Here is one of my favorites: https://insights.arcgis.com/#/view/0b53885b624645e9b8305bc7baa0ea66

@SebFischer Sorry, I missed your follow-up question. The answer would be no or as designed, predefined filters (Filters in 2023.3) and temporal filters are a way for your viewers to have filter capability on shared reports. They cannot execute an analytical operation on downstream datasets to avoid stressing the system and making the report unusable until the operation is finished. You can create multiple filters for belonging to each dataset. e.g. If this was possible and you shared this report publically where it is accessed by thousands of users then every user filter interaction triggering spatial operation would be expensive on your servers both literally and monetarily (if the data is coming from a cloud warehouse). The only way for you to rerun the entire analysis is by setting up a report for a scheduled refresh. Hope that helps

Hi @RamaRaomalisetti Thanks for your question, Not sure if you found a workaround here but the predefined filters are a way for your viewers to filter out the data they want. What you are asking is something similar to Drillthrough filters which we don't support right now. Please refer to this Esri Community Post for possible workarounds.

@Ming I appreciate you doing the testing and narrowing it down! I can reproduce this. I am not familiar with VPAT support but it seems like this could be by design and if the number of categories exceeds a certain number then it skips the narration. This is probably to avoid getting stuck on the card for a long time. It also happens to Scatterplots. When I navigate to the Stack chart narrator does say "<chart type> chart, visual aid required". I will confirm with someone on our team.

@Ming Not sure what is going on with the page you shared, I can't even tab to the category Like I was able to in mine, Here is something I created https://insights.arcgis.com/#/view/7b1cf10f582e4b38ab19bf22bb3fd238 See if you can navigate to the column and hear correctly. Let me know the following e.g. what is the data source used? (Feature service/ excel/ one drive etc.) What tools you have executed? (I see that in the model and I tried recreating something similar) When was the workbook created? It is possible if the workbook was created before we fixed some things then it could explain the difference. Also, try using a new workbook.

@Ming I didn't realize that you are using a numeric field in the Reference table card and adding a dollar sign for representation. you can configure where to place the dollar sign by selecting the field on the reference table card and going to the column formatting: If you use a numeric field, the substitute formula I sent will not work as the comma is just a representation in certain languages. I do understand it could be an enhancement to let users choose a separator of their choice, but I am not sure if we can justify that as the whole point of i18N language support is to automatically handle these cases according to the browser language.

@Ming I don't hear that, For me it says the Category name. e.g. In my example, it says "<#> Wednesday Menu item" I am using a newer update to Windows that yours, Maybe Narrator has some updates? See if you can download updates online. This is my Chrome version Let me know.

@Ming Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to change the font on categories. I was able to use Windows Narrator successfully on a Stacked bar chart using Win10 & Google Chrome. you want to use keyboard navigation ("Tab") button to navigate to a category and highlight. Let me know what browser and OS you are using and I can see if there is an issue.

@Ming I believe this is an expected behavior in a web application. The numbers and dates should be displayed according to the viewer's preference or browser region rather than the editors. The doc you shared mentions: "Number and date formatting within Insights is based on the app language. For supported languages that use region-specific number and date formats (Arabic (Insights desktop only), English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish), the region is used to determine the default formats for numbers and dates. For Insights in ArcGIS Online and Insights in ArcGIS Enterprise, the region is based on the browser region. " From the information you provided in the post you are using Insights Desktop in French language but when you share the report to ArcGIS Online it should format according to the browser region or user selection.
