Hi all I have a Web Map and a Web Mapping Application with 2 layers a point layer and a line layer. I am able to digitize points but when I try to digitize a polyline even if the shape draws correctly , it does not create a record in the feature class, and does not show the line digitized. The point layer works fine.

The old way works fine for me C:\>sdemon -o info -I users -s <server name> -i <service number> I disagree with the idea that only SDE should have access to the list of users that are connected. We are not SDE administrators but we run the command "sdemon -o info -I users" from time to time to check who is connected and for example see the number of connections when ArcGIS runs slow.

Currently I can run: C:\>sdemon -o info -I users -s <server name> -i <service number> ArcSDE Instance 5192 Registered Server Tasks on s0140404 at Mon Mar 10 13:12:06 2014 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- S-ID User Host:OS Started But using the Geodatabase Administration dialog box with a regular user that is schema owner but not SDE owner I can not see the "Connections" tab.

I am runiing SDE commands from my workstation when I type: C:\>sdemon -o info -I users -s <server name> -i <service number> It works fine ArcSDE Instance 5192 Registered Server Tasks on s0140404 at Mon Mar 10 13:12:06 2014 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- S-ID User Host:OS Started but when I type the same command with an oracle direct connection, it does not work and shows the message "Entry for SDE instance not found in services file, Unable to get users" C:\> sdemon -o info -I users -s <server name> -i sde:oracle11g:<instance name>
