I know in the Survey123 web builder, you can easily "cache answer to this question" for various input fields: How do you do this in Survey123 Connect in the XLS form? I feel like this is a dumb question but I cannot figure out how to display this. A follow up question is, do these answers only persist on the web or on the app (or both)? Thanks.

Tim, This sounds cool. And no, I have not really had the chance to spend a ton of time on this, unfortunately. Are you able to share your web app?

Jeanette, Have you tried messing with the snapping settings in the snapping area? Have you gotten other layers to snap? What kind of layer are you trying to get to snap (point, line, polygon, etc.)?

Jordan, Great questions. I wish someone from the ArcGIS Online could chime in on this! If you're going to the Esri User Conference, you could easily nail someone down there and ask them face-to-face.

Rob, Once you work through the different docking panes in Pro, you start to get the hang of how to do the labeling and other techniques. For callouts with leader lines, just to the layer's labeling properties, click on Symbol, then Callout, drop the box down to Balloon and mess with the properties from there.

Timo, Are you using ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro? Can you show an example of what you're seeing? I'm not sure if this helps or not but here is an article on masking (if that is what you're doing): https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000011376

David, I guess that bug is a "private" one. I get a page that says this: "Unfortunately, you do not have access to the page or process that was requested." Though, it sounds promising that the bug, whatever it states, is escalated so hopefully it can be resolved soon-ish.

Looking at the City of San Diego Rules, here is what the above link says: (Scooters) 21235. The operator of a motorized scooter shall not do any of the following: (c) Operate a motorized scooter without wearing a properly fitted and fastened bicycle helmet that meets the standards described in Section 21212. So, finding Section 21212 is a little more difficult. But, I found this: https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/bicycle-pedestrian-safety-brochure.pdf Safety for Scooters and Skateboarders Every skateboarder, and those using scooters or skates should ALWAYS wear a helmet. (It’s the law for everyone under the age of 18 years.) (VC 21212(a)) So, what I'm gathering is, it's suggested for everyone but required for those under 18. Further down, it says this: - Helmets are required for everyone under the age of 18 years when riding a bicycle, scooter, skateboard or skates. (VC21212 (a)) - Helmets are strongly recommended for people of all ages. - Wearing a properly fitted helmet can reduce the risk of serious head injury by 85% But, even FURTHER down, it says: Don’t forget – helmets are required to scooter too! (VC21212(a))

Kate, Sadly, Rupert has left us too soon: https://adventuresinmapping.com/2019/01/24/my-friend-rupert-essinger/ Flickr can do what is asked but the user would have to pay the yearly subscription of $50 per year. I bet python could do something like this, but I wouldn't really know how. Personally, I would load these images onto my own website server and formulate my own spreadsheet to do the dirty work. But, that's a ton of images! I am tagging Owen Evans on this to see if he has recommendations.

David, I cannot find any info on Esri's support site about that bug. Do you have a link for it? In any case, I know people use FME for converting DGN files to GIS and apparently it works wonderfully. FME has some sort of magic that handles that higher level of details that DGN files have and auto-magically converts that data into a useable GIS. Since my company doesn't have FME, we recently have been using "Tags" in microstation to help signify things better in GIS. This has worked great and after I get the right tags, I just link up a spreadsheet by joining. It ends up looking like this on my attribute table in Pro: You can see the normal CAD fields but at the end, my CAD guy added some additional info with tags for "Type" and "Parcel_No". This table is the raw CAD data. I don't do that tagging so I am not fully sure what is involved. My CAD guy told me it's super fast and easy though. Here are a couple of links I found on it: https://www.cadalyst.com/cad/microstation/tag-you039re-it-productivity-corner-microstation-tutorial-3482 https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/2947/using-microstation-tags I hope this helps.

Michael, Thanks for the follow up. Has anyone had trouble with the scooters and not wearing helmets? I understand on Mission Beach (this was last July), the police were handing out tickets to anyone riding one of the scooters without wearing a helmet since that is a requirement of those electric scooters.
