Have you tried the one from downloading within Visual Studio? Or does that redirect you to MyESRI too? Home · Esri/arcgis-pro-sdk Wiki · GitHub

I have seen various websites that have free instructional courses to help teach you how to code. In particular, these have caught my eye: https://www.codecademy.com/ -- (free) http://www.freecodecamp.com/ -- (free) https://www.codeschool.com/ -- (not free) https://teamtreehouse.com/ -- (not free) https://www.codeavengers.com/ -- (not free) Does anyone have experience with this? And is there one that would be best to integrate into GIS, particularly ArcGIS API for JavaScript? Or maybe there is something I am completely missing in my minimal search on how to teach myself coding…

Tracy, were you ever able to find a solution to this? I just noticed on Esri's MOOC that they have an email address for technical issues - LearnGIS@esri.com . That might be a good place to start in order to get things working properly for you.

Hi Scott! I am not sure if this helps or not but have you tried Dynamic Segmentation? This may be a way for your line to be broken up yet still be continuous, and allow for individual attributes like you need. Dynamic segmentation—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop Also, for me I think it helps when you just copy and paste a screen shot into the forum post so that it's just there to be looked at instead of downloaded (or post a link to a photo). And, it might help to move your post out of the GeoNet Help and into a more specified place (like GIS Places or so).

Dan has a good point about the right coordinate system. Have you tried zooming to the layer to make sure it wasn't put in the wrong place (like off the Northern Coast of Africa)? If you are able to find it in the wrong place then it may simple be the wrong coordinate system.

I remember seeing something where you could do this with a web map (though I can't find the article now) but I do not believe this can happen for a web app, unfortunately. This would be nice though.

Just from my brief glancing around, things look like I would think they should to me. Can you specifically mention where you are seeing problems?

If you are an administrator on your AGOL account, then you can change the owner of this map or application. Click on the item in your My Content in AGOL and then there should be a Change Owner button where you can select which person to give it to.

I would have suggested the USA Topo map from ArcGIS Online but I am not sure what kind of quality you are looking for. I feel like that may be your best bet, unfortunately. I did come across this map view interactive map from the USGS but I am not sure if it is more useful or not: Viewer | topoView I will be curious to see if others have a good solution for this.

Ok, this is weird. I am seeing the same things too (running ArcMap 10.3.1 on a Basic license). However, these was happening with a File Geodatabase. When I tried with a plain ole shapefile, it worked like it was supposed to... Maybe setting precision and scale are not necessary within geodatabases? (but that doesn't sound right...)
