Sometimes there is a glitch when publishing certain services and I do not fully know why. I have found that it helps when I open my MXD from ArcCatalog and publish it from there, as opposed to opening the MXD from Windows Explorer. Also, the server name of my folder connection in ArcCatalog has to be named a certain way to match the server itself (which I also do not fully understand). So, I am not sure that this helps...

This is a great question. I found where someone asked this on Stack Exchange and there is a 'suitable' answer there. Not sure if this works for you or not. Besides the obvious, the ArcMap interface really isn't suitable for so many fields. Even three fields is pretty cumbersome. A workaround is to recode your five fields into a single, master symbology field. Then you can use the regular unique values symbology for this. Here's an example with some made-up data: By recoding the fields into the Master field, you can create a set of unique symbologies as needed. You could even concatenate values so that the master field had a value of USA, New York, Buffalo, Type 1, Active in the first row.

James, that makes sense and I ran the codeblock in Field Calculator with your code, but it didn't return anything. There were no errors though. Is there something I am doing wrong? The field that I am grabbing the values from is called "Layer" and I am putting the values into "Parcel_Numb". def makestr(Layer):
numlist = []
for s in Layer:
if s.isdigit():
numlist.append(s)
retlist = ''.join(numlist)
if any(char.isdigit() for char in retlist):
return retlist and for the bottom part: makestr(!Pacel_Numb!) Is it a syntax issue?

I feel kind of dumb but I cannot figure out how to make this work. This should be easy, I think, but field calculator is making it difficult for me. I have one field that has text and numbers. I want to use Field Calculator with Python to just grab those numbers and put them into my Long Integer field. I tried using the example from Stack Exchange but maybe I am doing it wrong because this example is making it a string? (this returns nothing in my records) What am I doing wrong?

I agree with what Rebecca said. Also, you could post a comment on it which would hypothetically bump it to the top of the Recent Activity.

If no one comments on the poll, then the poll/discussion will not get bumped to the top of the discussion pages. Therefore, it sort of get lost in the GeoNet, unfortunately. You could post the link to your poll in this post so that users can see it and vote on it.

You will need to use web-hosted photos in order to have them displayed on your web-map. You can do this by adding the photos to your ArcGIS Online account: Using photos stored in ArcGIS Online | ArcGIS Blog Or other sites, like Flickr (like you mentioned): Add Flickr photos to ArcGIS Online web maps | ArcGIS Blog If you're wondering where to get the link that has .jpg in it, the article above explains how to get that. On the side, here is an article about adding geotagged photos to your map: Adding geotagged photos to your web map | ArcGIS Blog

You will have to use the code block to make a basic logic statement utilizing If..Then. See this article on the basics for doing this: Calculate Field examples—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop and scroll down to "Using code blocks" I am guessing that you will need to check each field if it is empty or now. I would start it like: If !LOCN!.len() <> 0 (but you'll have to tinker around with the code to make it behave properly!)

There are many different ways to do this. One way is to change your map projection in ArcGIS (right click on Layer in the Table of Contents and go to Properties then click on the Coordinate System tab) (Specifying a coordinate system—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop ) to a coordinate system that uses Lat/Long. Then you can Add XY values to your features: Add XY Coordinates—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

Could you try .lstrip()? So !LOCN!.lstrip() + " " + !LOCD!.lstrip() + " " + !LOCS!.lstrip() Would that work?

This would not happen natively in ArcGIS Online. You would likely need to custom program that on an "on click" event in your web map app. Though, some Story Maps have this capability in various forms and fashions which might work for what you're needing: Story Maps | Story Maps
