Nicholas, check out Robert's answer in Can attribute table results be limited to map extent by default? for simple fix for filtering attribute table by extent. This did the trick for me. A Few other tips a included in Tips (LocalLayer widgets) for more customization and Updating (may help with others too) in case any of those tips will help for now.

TIm, if you are asking whether using your own Basemap with a different wkid than web Mercator aux is a bug....I would say no. I use our basemaps with (AK Albers) with WAB and have had no issues. I do have our Basemap service used to create the Basemap thru AGOL online, however, so I can use the maps mapID for WAB. Then I use Robert Scheitlin, GISP 's eBasemap widget to add the rest of my basemaps services (also Ak Albers). So, unless there is something specific about wkid 2881, I would check the typical missing or misplaced comma, or brackets. Those can get spit out weird results, with or without an error message, in my experience anyway.

Michael, it is not possible at this time to add widgets to the AGOL version of WAB, but is not difficult with the WAB developers version. Many of the current custom widgets available from Robert S and others are fairly straight forward to use. I have several docs available, that you can check out. The Web AppBuilder Developer Edition – Customization Resource List Lists many if the resources to get you started, including links to the others docs I have. For instaling WAB look at Tips and Observations for getting Web AppBuilder - Developer Edition Installed I have two others specific to the Local Layer widget...links are in the resource doc. I try to update these with new info, especially the Resource doc, whenever I see something more come out. Hope these help.

You may have already tried this, but did you clear your buffer? i was able to log on to my account using Google Chrome on the iPad with no problem (once I remembered my Geonet account is different from my AGOL account. It had been a while since I had logged in (since before the update). I did not clear the buffer specifically on the iPad, by the way.

I deleted my last post since Andrew Turner ssounds like he'll be able to help you. Main thing is, I could see you're open data page, and not the default AGOL page. And actually, I misread the original post...thought it was the main page you had issues with, but it was the links....and I am getting the default page for those. Good luck. I'm going to follow thus thread since it may be something I'll try in the future.

if you want to keep everything internal you should look at installing Portal. Portal is similar to ArcGIS Online but keep totally in-house. Although I haven't used it for production purposes, I installed it during a beta and it seemed fairly straight forward. Keep in mind that Portal will always be slightly behind features becoming available with AGOL, since the online platform is much easier for esri to deploy than Portal (and Web AppBuilder Dev edition). As for my opinion on why the appid is necessary with the redirect, this is a way to register the use of the software. Although WAB is a freely available download, and pretty much anyone can get a subscription to AGOL at least for development, esri does put resources and effort into creating the application and like most sites, I don't see a problem with them wanting users to authenticate using AGOL or Portal. However, that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the efforts of talented users willing to develop and share custom widgets, including and especially the widget that (once a base map mapid is registered) allows us to directly use our AGS services. I beleive that as esri sees a demand for some of these widgets and chatter on the forums, more and more of these features will be released thru AGOL and eventually WAB and Portal. case in point, ArcGIS Online | What's New - March 2015 with the next version of WAB anticipated to be released sometime later this month (my guess would be during or right after the Dev Summit, but that's just my opinion, nothing official). Again, because Portal is package differently, that may be on a slightly different schedule. So, I would suggest looking more into what you have available thru you ArcGIS Server licensing for Portal, and talk with you customer rep or tech support If you have specific questions. And, even though my notes are tested for Online, some of my tips may help with Portal also. I have four blog docs, but the install tips and the resource docs might be your best bet for getting started. I feel your frustration of all things wanting seeming to need AGOL, but at least they are providing an alternative with Portal. i hope some of this helps. My guess is yes, when the next version of Web AppBuilder dev edition is released. I do not have a date of release, but typically AGOL is updated first and more often. Portal and WAB-Dev lag behind.

Hi Glenn, First, I can't take credit for creating any of the custom widgets (so far anyway). I'm just using, testing, giving feedback when I can and sharing what I've learned, Since I needed a way to keep track, I created Web AppBuilder Developer Edition – Customization Resource List which is a living document, meaning I add to it often. It includes Links to groups/places/people, downloads, and a list of all the custom widgets I have found links to. It may not be 100% complete but will try to keep it as up to date at I can. I'm marking those that I have tried in the doc, since some I just haven't had time for yet. To answer your questions - you do not need to be a developer to use it, My blogs might make it look worse then it is because I break some of the steps down for those that aren't (i.e fill in between the lines a bit). However, when using some of the custom widgets or other tweaks, you might need to be able to edit some of the files (in editor like Notepad++ with addins, although I prefer Brackets or some other that understands JavaScript syntax). Main tip with any of that, is watch for typos, and make sure you brackets and commas are in the right place. And although I haven't installed with Portal myself, check out Tips and Observations for getting Web AppBuilder - Developer Edition Installed since that may help. Best think is just to dive in. Since it's local, and you can start over if things get too messy, that is sometime the best way to learn. Have fun!
