You can try using ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) I know there are issues with links today, so just in case full path http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#/CheckInExtension/03q300000054000000/ That is supposed to work anyway.

Chris...hint on getting rid of the "email.thread" part of the link.....you can delete the "et=watches.email.thread" part of the path and it should auto-text the hyperlink. the # part seems to zoom to the right reply. (you may already know that, but just in case not) that is https://community.esri.com/message/535562#535562 will get you there.

Word of caution if you are also using the iOS app, I've noticed this link doesn't seem to sync up with the app anymore (did when the it was first available on the PC) and I haven't found a "refresh" or sync. If it does sync, it's very slow. That might be why it isn't easily available on the UC page. My guess is it was pulled for a reason....but if that is your only option (i.e. not mobile device, it's probably better than nothing (my opinion, but I'm sticking to the iOS app, fwiw.).

Just to clarify, mine was repeated because I kept adding it since I couldn't find it so to the none chronological placement, that is, it wasn't repeated by the app but by me. It didn't read the times I set properly, for whatever reason, which is why I kept adding, and I think that is the bug.

Do you mean your manually added session shows at the top of your planner? That's interesting. It made me go search for my added "5:30 pm - 9:00 pm" meeting added.....it was therre 3 times....between my 10:30 and 11:00 am selections. So, not exactly chrono, but at least I know it added it. Might be able to figure out how to trick it time-wise until it is maybe fixed (maybe just force it to be at the top of the day....) But now it makes sense why the Saturday appt showing up. Edit: so I change my 5:30 pm to 5:30 am so at least I can find it. For anyone at esri monitoring the User Conference space....this seems to be a bug in the app ....not a major bug once you figure it out...but...

Chris, I was able to add my own appointments, etc using the "write" icon when you are on "My Schedule" on the iOS app. Sorry, can't give a snapshot of the button. I got it to work once anyway, for a day that I had nothing else planned (Saturday). The second appointment I tried to add didn't take (but may be user erro on my part....so I'll try again later)

I'll assume you mean JavaScript and not pure Java? If so, check out Developing Web Apps with ArcGIS API for JavaScript / Building Applications Using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript Resources and for the Web AppBuilder developers edition specifically (disclosure, my blogs) Tips and Observations for getting Web AppBuilder - Developer Edition Installed Web AppBuilder Developer Edition - Customization Resource List the second has many links to other resources and custom widgets the community has developed.

So, the rest endpoint must have a typo in the first post ( http://www.topofthesouthmaps.co.nz/arcgis/services ) didn't work... missing "rest" vs the second http://www.topofthesouthmaps.co.nz/arcgis/rest/services (took me awhile to get the good one to print) which worked. This second one, less the /rest/services also working in ArcCatalog now both of these tests worked on the machines that didn't work earlier, so I would check your connection again (that is, make sure it is typed correctly)

This time I was ,both thru ArcCatalog and the rest services link. This is a different machine than I tried the first time. I'll go check that one out too. As for the :6080 reference.....use your server-name:6080 not the URL.

Terry, I don't have AutoCAD either, but I get a "Error: Internal server error" when trying thru ArcCatalog. You may want to check the path and make sure you can access it thru catalog and/or the rest endpoint before you throw AutoCAD into the mix. Maybe the name of the server or web adaptor changed? Is this your ArcGIS Server or another agency?

Hi Bob, I'm not sure what icon you are seeing the error on (a screen shot might help), but that almost sounds like you are not connecting to ArcGIS Online, and it sounds like you are in ArcGIS Pro, not desktop(any possibility there? an if it's pro, have you logged into your enterprise account?). My instructions above of course are for Desktop, not Pro. But yes, if none of the above helped, and you know it's not a network issue, then a call to tech support might be needed.. By the way, you have this questions listed in the ArcGIS Server section which gets less traffic (from other community members that may be able to lend a hand), so I'll cross point GIS whcih, although more generic, might have more answers.

You might want to try a "repair" before a full install, but try the the profile reset I linked to before that...that fixes many things. If you do go to do a full reinstall, I would do a full uninstall and rename the EDRi folder in, e.g. your c:\users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI And ...Roaming\ folders. Your catalog connections are actually stored in the ....\roaming\esri\<desktop 10.xxx>\Arccatalog. Folder, so going in there and renaming the old connection file might help too. RE my LinkedIn....not very good at keeping that up to date, but yep, work for fish and game (state, not Feds) and it's a great job. I tried to update the profile today (first time I've been on in months) and couldn't find the edit...ha...so much for that. (Been with ADF&G for 30+ yrs now)

Bob, I installed (upgraded) a 10.3 machine to 10.3.1 and was able to attach in the same manner as above with no issues. The machine I tested on is within my work firewall (AK, not MN) so it's not a general firewall issue. But could it be on your end? If it was working prior to your software upgrade, I wouldn't think so, Have you tried deleting you current connection and make sure you are copying the exact path from their instructions? (including the ? but not the quote). Then press, get layers. Is this when you get the error? Might be worth a try (and never hurts to try a reboot....fixes many flaky things sometime). If you are still having issues, try Resetting your ArcGIS application profile this can also clear up some otherwise unexplainable things. Anyway, from my tests it doesn't look like it is an issue on the services from Minnesota. Edit: oh, and if you do recreate them, make sure you use the same name as before....or you will want to reset them to the new name in your mxd's.
