Hi, sorry for the late reply. It's not a bug with 3.0 but rather some new behavior which unfortunately we didn't reflect in the tutorial. To complete the tutorial in 3.0, you should make the following changes in the Visualize trends with a line chart section: Step 10: Set the Aggregation setting to Sum. (It should be the default setting.) The Split by option is now enabled and you can complete Steps 11 and 12. Now make a couple of adjustments: Under Time binning options, change the Interval size from 2 Years to 1 Year. (It doesn't make sense to sum percentages for multiple years.) Uncheck the Trim incomplete interval box. (Otherwise, the last year of data is omitted.) In the English UI it looks like this: We will definitely fix the tutorial steps for the 3.1 release; I hope we can make a fix sooner in a patch. Thanks for bringing the problem to our attention and, again, sorry for the late reply. With quick-start tutorials, or any other documentation, you can also use the Feedback on this topic? link at the bottom of the web page to report problems. Thanks, Tim

Hi, this works in Pro 3.0. You can drag and drop a map or layout from one project to another, even if the second project doesn't have a map or layout. Just drop it anywhere on the catalog pane or catalog view--it will create the container and put the item inside it. Tim

Hi, another good resource for you might be https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/choose-the-right-projection/ It's a hands-on tutorial at an introductory level. It includes concepts and practical applications of the concepts--like visualizing the distortion caused by different types of projections.

Hi TamT, thank you for drawing attention to this. The ArcGIS Pro development team has logged an issue to fix this behavior. I can't give you a time estimate, but it is being tracked now. Thanks again! Tim

Hi Maureen, you can apply scale-based sizing to all the symbols in a layer. The option is on the Symbology pane, under Format Point Symbol, on the Properties tab. Described in the help topic Scale-based symbol sizing

As far as I know, maps and layouts always open stacked on top of the active view. I don't think you can change this in the UI. When a map opens next to a table, it's because the table view was active when you opened the map. If you make a map view active instead, or close the table view first, then the new map (or layout) will open in the expected location.

Hi, try setting the user interface options for working with views and see if that helps. See this help topic: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/user-interface-options.htm

Hi Scott, your image shows that you're trying to add a geodatabase as a folder connection. The Name box will only be populated if you select a folder in that right-hand window. Browse up one level so all those folders appear in the right-hand window and it should work.

Hi, hope this isn't too late to be of use. There are a couple of ways to thin out the display of all those wolf packs: Use a definition query. Use a display filter. You can also select a subset of the features and export it to a new dataset, but I'd probably go with one of the first two approaches. As for singling out the state of Washington--I don't think that's possible on a basemap like the one in your image. But you can search online for U.S. state boundary layers (same way you found the wolf data). You can then apply a definition query or display filter so that only Washington appears on the map. Then you would turn off the basemap or dim it or something. Btw when you search ArcGIS Online for data in Pro, search results are sorted by default on Date Modified. To find a good U.S. states layer easily, change that sort key to Relevance instead.

@Mikhail yes, like @David_Brooks said... in the upper right corner of ArcGIS Pro you should see your user name and the name of your organization. Like this: The user name and organization name must be the same as the ArcGIS Online account where your web map is stored. You may be signed in to a different portal in Pro--or not be signed in to a portal at all. These help topics may be useful: Sign in to your organization Manage portal connections from ArcGIS Pro
