It looks like from v10.0 (any patch level) you will need to upgrade to 10.3 first; https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/manage-data/gdbs-in-sql-server/upgrade-geodatabase-sqlserver.htm Then move to Pro 2.8.x: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/help/data/geodatabases/manage-sql-server/upgrade-geodatabase-sqlserver.htm Then you can go to Pro 2.9.x: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.9/help/data/geodatabases/manage-sql-server/upgrade-geodatabase-sqlserver.htm Because you are so many versions behind, you would have to make 2 - 3 jumps. You may be able to do this with another ArcMap client version instead of Pro, but would recommend lots of research and planning to make this drastic of a change.

I did not mark as a "Solution". I just removed the solution as to not cause confusion. As mentioned, I think early on, before the defect was identified, that may have worked. Should be updated now.

I would reach out to technical support for an update on this defect. I am not in development so I do not know what the latest is at this point in time.

In the location with the shapefile, can you send a screenshot of all the shapefiles w/extensions? The shapefile needs 3 different files to make it work correctly. Here is an example of an exported shape file: Notice there are multiple parts to the file. .shp—The main file that stores the feature geometry; required. .shx—The index file that stores the index of the feature geometry; required. .dbf—The dBASE table that stores the attribute information of features; required p/latest/manage-data/shapefiles/shapefile-file-extensions.htm How was the file sent to you, zipped up or individual files?

So if I created the layer, there is no way at all for her to modify the schema? That is correct, only the data owner can update the schema. If the table is something like this: dbname."Domain\MattBeal".tablename then only you would be able to update. If you want to have a list of users that can make the changes. You would need to load the data as a DB user / data owner. You could then share the UN / PW or a connection file, with those users that would allow access. Just know that they would be able to full permissions on the table. Which means they can modify anything in the table properties, include deleting the table.

If you are updating the schema of the feature class you need to connect as the data owner. Are you connecting as the data owner? Are you both connecting as the same user to SQL Server?

I am wondering if there is a "size" issue with the shapefile. Shapefiles have a 2GB size limit.; https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/manage-data/shapefiles/geoprocessing-considerations-for-shapefile-output.htm#:~:text=Shapefile%20extensions-,Geometry%20limitations,roughly%2070%20million%20point%20features. Can you export the feature as a shapefile from the downloaded file geodatabase? If so, how big is the entire (all the) files? Here is another post on this: https://community.esri.com/t5/data-management-questions/export-large-shapefile/td-p/1092341

There is not a tool to convert it directly, that I am aware of. You would have to unversion the traditional data and reversion as branched. Not sure how to keep the edits. Are you connecting to the services that were published as branch versioned?

Looking at that link, that add-in was built for ArcMap, not ArcGIS Pro. That is why you are not able to install it. I would recommend contacting the people listed at the bottom of that page for information on a potential version that runs with ArcGIS Pro.

I think those would be tables that are created by the tool to record any results. They could be "new" tables in your Enterprise Geodatabase or in another file geodatabase.

Here is the text from the web page for the tool: March 21, 2024: A new setup is now available for the Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.1 Validation and Repair tool. This new version of the tool includes resolutions for a possible upgrade failure and issues running the tool with no available disk space. This version also enhances tool resiliency when it is terminated during a repair and provides more informative logging. There is no need to run this new tool if you already used the previous version of the tool to successfully validate your Enterprise portal. https://support.esri.com/en-us/patches-updates/2023/portal-for-arcgis-validation-and-repair Hope this help clear up any questions on the "re-released" tooling.

Ok, so it looks like you are exporting the "new" geocoded table. When you geocode a table it creates a new feature class (table). Not sure why those fields are missing.

Thanks for the info above. I think the issue is that when you add a table not registered with the geodatabase, and you have Pro (ArcGIS) create an ObjectID, it is NOT a field in the table. Pro will create a "virtual" ObjectID field and use that in the client. Does the source table have an ObjectID field that matches what you see in Pro in Oracle (look using sqlplus)? If the field does not exist in the Oracle table, then it would not be exported from Pro.
