Ok so I have been using dashboard as an easy way to export out data from collector projects. I have been playing with Survey123 and like some of the functionality but need to also get that data out which I figured the same method would be easiest. When I add a Survey123 webmap as my source and create an export but when I goto export it crashes dashboard - with or without attachments. Anyone tried using the export with a SURVEY123 map?

Ok so the more I play with Survey123 the more I like it. This could actually be a better tool than collector. I have one major question, I can see multiple ways to get the data out but what about the attachments? How can you export those? For collector the easiest way I see is to use dashboard and the export widget but in using the survey webmap it always errors out. Online in the survey site I see several options for download but I would like to download the csv and attachment separate? Is this possible?

Yes, there are good and bad of each from what I found. It would be nice to combine the 2. Survey lets you add a photo (video/audio seem to be in the works) but only a single photo per record (though thinking about this now you might be able to create 2 fields for photos and I am going to try that!). I like that you could build in logic to Survey 123 and use it as error handling of sorts. Collector still can do more in terms of schema setups and I think its easier but that's also because you do not have the logic portion. I also have not played much with getting the data out of Survey 123 but I am sure there are similar ways. Collector is also nicer in terms of overall display and setup for the end user IMO.

I've been playing with side loading, where did you get your imagery for side loading? Is it something you created in house? I've never been able to get side loaded imagery since ESRI basemaps do not support

Ok its kinda a pain now that I played with it and really should change this but in order to change the existing form the only way I could do it was to goto your My Survey Designs folder, find that form and manually rename each description file to the new name. You have to do all the files with that name though. Best to make sure you set the name up front

Yeah it doesn't like spaces in the title from what I gather. When you create one you can set your title but once its created goto settings and you can change it there too

They should just be able to goto the gallery in AGOL. Anything not private in your org should just show there. Its just a list of all content. I'm not our admin though so it's possible there are some admin settings as well to allow this.

If you tap the gps icon you can disable or just disable it on the device itself. If you are going to just do Arial though why not just use desktop?

Ah sorry, hopefully ESRI gives you an answer. the points should be ok, I know you can create the fgdb and import your data but the attachements will be a pain. I dont know an easy way to do that. Hopefully there are no related tables which would add to the trouble.

I am wondering if it is something in the way that person who left initially published the services. Its very odd the setup. How much data has already been collected? I would try calling ESRI tech support who should be able to help more. I am at a loss on this, if they cant help the only option would be to recreate the feature service and then republish. You should be able to get out the existing data but it would be a pain to then get it back into your service. Have you used Ops Dashboard before? There are export widgets in there that let you pull out data in csv and attachments separate which you could then import back in (attachments would be the pain) and republish then use the new feature service going forward.

I noticed that Survey123 also has a full area basemap available offline. I would think if this can be implemented in both of these other services it should also be available for collector (with some app updates). This would be a huge asset for collection in a disconnected environment. No need to download maps unless you wanted something not supported.

Also if that is not you and enabling the export does not give you the options needed, AGOL has a new feature that allows the admin (and only the admin) of your AGOL account to create a group that gives all members the ability to edit items shared to the group which also might resolve the issue Share items—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

Ah sorry I was looking at the post in another section and it didn't show me the bottom but I see it how. below is what one of my services looks like and you can see more options there as well. Parks_TownofSuperior is showing as the publisher, is that your signon? I was assuming it was but that is the user who published the service and if you are logged in as that user I would expect the export to be available. If not I suspect that is the issue. If that is not you then there is an option (Seen in my snapshot) to enable export data for other users. If the publisher enables that it might resolve your issue, though I am not sure what export options it gives as I don't have access to one setup like that which I do not own.
