I am missing all the excitement from being there. Sitting in an office catching updates here and there just doesn't compare. Chris is doing a great job with the community. A lot has happened over the last 3 years, and I know there is a lot more to come.

Check out the Lookup tool - Lookup—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Keep in mind that it requires an integer raster. -Credit to Raster Master Jeffrey Swain Being more of a feature guy myself, I would have said to convert the raster to points and then pull the values from the output feature class.

You will need to edit a multipatch feature class and place the model during that edit session. You could also symbolize a point feature class with the model and convert the symbolized points to a multipatch feature class. You may have to export it as a recognizable format such as DAE/3DS/FLT if your multipatch is not recognizable. How to import an existing 3D model into a multipatch feature class—Help | ArcGIS Desktop I have also moved this discussion to https://community.esri.com/community/gis/3d?sr=search&searchId=bad29260-f0e2-4122-b047-27084b011159&searchIndex=0 as GeoNet Help is for information and questions related the community.

Hi Sarah - Thanks for asking your questions and welcome to the GeoNet community! I wanted to let you know that we're moving your question from the GeoNet Help group to the NetworkHarborInc space so our Esri and user subject matter experts can further help answer this and future questions. So you're aware on how and where to post your questions, here's a few quick tips and reminders: First, use the GeoNet search (top right corner by your profile icon) to search and see if your question has already by asked/answered previously. If not, than we suggest reviewing the GeoNet Community Structure, to find the most relevant space to post your question. The GeoNet GeoNet Help group is for questions and tips on how to use the GeoNet community platform not the Esri ArcGIS platform. Following steps 1 & 2 above will give you the best results for getting Esri product questions answered. This GeoNet 101 "How to Ask Questions on GeoNet" post is also a helpful guide to asking questions: https://community.esri.com/community/help-and-feedback/blog/2016/08/15/community-news-and-tips-how-to-ask-questions-and-get-answers Thanks again for contributing and I hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions.

Here are some tips for the Esri UC: For lunch walk 10-15 minutes out from the convention center. This will help you avoid the crowds and find some really good "hole in the wall" restaurants. Buy your GIS themed t-shirts from the Esri Store as soon as they open on Monday. They will sell out fast. Find out where the Esri and vendor sponsored socials are each night. This is a great place to network and get some really good food. Two of my top Esri UC social events are the YPN Social and the DevMeetup. Don't forget to bring a stack of business cards. Even if you are looking for job, this is a great way to get your name out there. Go to the Map Gallery Opening and Evening Reception on Monday. You will see maps from some of the best cartographers and analysts in the industry. Plus there usually is some good food. Take your kids to the Kids Fair. It is ideal for children ages 5-15 and is free and open to everyone. This gives them a chance to be hands-on with GIS. Check out my complete list: /blogs/GeoSocial/2017/05/10/10-tips-for-taking-on-the-esri-user-conference
