@ChloeC - This sounds similar to a bug we are tracking internally. We are working on a fix and hope to address it in our next update later this month.

@DerekMStrout -- This is not currently possible, but it is something we have considered. I would encourage you to post this to the ideas board so we can gather more information on how many other people would like to see this. Here is a similar idea that you can vote for, but I think you are looking to put images in the side panel so you may want to create a new idea for that.

@BlueGAPUSF - There is no timeline nor even an assurance every idea will be included in the product. The Esri Community ideas boards are meant to collect requests and gauge their popularity to inform each team's planning process. Even popular ideas with much support may not be implemented due to technical constraints, level of effort vs. value, or other reasons. You can review the ArcGIS Ideas Submission Guidelines and Statuses for more info. I should also mention it's possible to build custom elements inside ArcGIS StoryMaps using the new advanced embedding capability, which you can learn more about here: Introducing Story Embeds via Script! and storymaps-developer-samples/embed/README.md at main · Esri/storymaps-developer-samples If you have a timeline for your project, I would recommend that you look to use existing capabilities in ArcGIS StoryMaps. If ArcGIS StoryMaps does not meet your needs, you can also try another product (like ArcGIS Hub or ArcGIS Experience Builder) or plan to produce a custom web site.

@BlueGAPUSF -- Thanks for posting your question. That page is not a StoryMap. It looks to me like a custom page, but it could have been built with a technology I'm not familiar with. Within StoryMaps there isn't a horizontally scrolling element like that, but it's a neat idea. If you would like to see something like this added to StoryMaps in the future, I would invite you to post on our ideas board.

@SaraJL - This new issue was caused by an ArcGIS Online patch that was deployed recently. We are planning to resolve it in a release later today.

@twilliamson_topv I'm not sure where the idea to use <bol> as an HTML tag came from, but as you've found out with @CodyPatterson's help, that is not a thing. 🙂 Glad you have things working now. The set of HTML tags supported in map tour is documented here: Add map tours—ArcGIS StoryMaps | Documentation Although you can only choose one field for a map tour's place descriptions, it is quite easy to generate a new field with concatenated information from multiple other fields. HTML can be used to apply rich formatting to create multiple paragraphs, lists, links, and more. Here are two articles related to this technique that you might find helpful. Format place descriptions for data driven map tour using HTML Using ArcGIS Arcade to your story's advantage

@JoshuaBSmall -- Turns out there is a feature that does not have a valid geometry defined and that is what is causing the error. As far as we can tell, this is very rare and the current feature service creation workflows don't allow this. If you delete this row, I believe your tour should start working or at least you should be able to create a new tour from the modified feature layer.

@JohnOlson - Thanks for sharing this idea. This is not something that is currently on our roadmap, but you are already able to embed other ArcGIS apps that have this type of capability into your StoryMap. For example, you could use the BASIC instant app and configure the layer widget to enable readers to toggle visibility of various layers as shown in this sample app. Experience Builder may also have a similar capability.
