Hi Carly, Hosting app code on ArcGIS Online is not supported. You'll have to host the app on your own server or other web-enabled file hosting service (like Amazon S3). You can find more documentation on how to deploy a custom story map on the GitHub repo for one of our storytelling apps. Hi Scott, Sorry you are having an issue. Cascade is now supported in My Stories, so you can check the sharing. Can you confirm that all the content is still shared by clicking Check Story in the builder side panel and finding your story in the list? Could you also post a link to your story here so I can check it out? Owen

Hi Justin, I would recommend waiting one more day before doing any more work on your Shortlist -- we're releasing an all new Shortlist with a builder that will be available tomorrow on ArcGIS Online (as opposed to only a code download that you need to host yourself). You can import your existing Shortlist web map and easily reorder the points by dragging and dropping them in the new version. 😉 Owen

RuthAnne, Currently, yes, that's the only way to get a persistent URL is to share with everyone. I would suggest simply creating a link in the text of your story to open the PDF in another browser tab -- that way you could store the PDF somewhere that you can provide secure access to people who are authorized to see it (like Box or other file storage service). Hi RuthAnne, What URL are you using? My guess is that you were opening the file and then copying the URL from the address bar, which gives you a URL that expires. You first need to share the file with Everyone, and then a URL will appear at the bottom of the right sidebar on the item page for you to use. That URL won't expire. Also it's best to use https for your URL so that you don't run into mixed content errors as described in this blog: Embedding apps and websites in Story Maps | ArcGIS Blog Owen

Nava, There are a few supported data sources at the first beta release, and yes, you'll be able to create a web map from a GDB or SHP that contains your place information and photo URLs and then publish that as a Shortlist. Owen

Hi Daniel, As long as you can embed the content in an iframe without any script tags you can embed it in a story map (Journal, Series, or Cascade). In Journal/Series you'd choose the "web page" option for your content and in Cascade you'd add the iframe code in the "Link to Content" tab of the Media Picker. Can you post a sample of the embed code from the photo sphere here? Owen

Kumushkan, Sorry you are having trouble with your story. It looks like it's the NOAA wind layer is causing the issue. Can you try re-adding that to your map or creating a new web map with that layer and using that in your story? Owen

Hi Darren, The update will be available to your next Weds morning, Sept 14. May I ask why you are waiting for the next release to use Cascade? Even though it is listed as beta it is supported by Esri and is very stable. Next week's update will ad some new features, fix many issues we've found, and improve the overall user experience of creating a Cascade story. Any stories you create now will continue to work and you can continue building them after next week's update. Owen

Melissa -- Sorry you are having trouble sharing your story. After the next ArcGIS Online update, which will be available next Wednesday, Sept 14, Cascade stories can be scanned and checked for errors using My Stories on the story maps website. That should help diagnose and fix the issue you are experiencing. Cameron -- In the next update we also will fix an issue with images not sharing properly, so please try your original workflow again after Wednesday and let me know if you still encounter the same problem. Hi Nava, Patrick is correct, there will be a cloud-hosted version of Shortlist available soon -- and by "soon" I mean next week! 🙂 If you can wait a few more days you'll be able to use the new version of Shortlist to create your story using a builder like you can with our other story map apps. Just check the apps page on the story maps website next Wednesday (Sept 14, 2016) and the link to the new Shortlist builder will be there. Owen

Hi Cameron, Sorry you are having trouble collaborating with others on your story map. I'm not able to reproduce the issue you described. Is it possible for your to share your app publicly so I can try to see what's going on? Also a few questions: What role are you and your colleagues assigned to? When you shared the story with the group did you choose to share it with Access and update capabilities? Owen

Hi Will, Sorry you are having that issue. Map Tour doesn't support autoplaying video at this time, so if you don't autoplay the video you shouldn't have that issue. We will look to support autoplaying video in the next generation Map Tour app, which we plan to release in 2017. Owen

Hi Victoria, Unfortunately, there is no way to print story maps at this time. The best option is to create your own document manually using the photos and text in the Story Map Tour. However, I am excited to announce that we are working on bringing printing to story maps!! We'll be releasing the first phase of this work in Sept when you'll be able to print a Story Map Journal. As we get feedback on the initial release of this feature we'll plan to bring printing to other story map apps in 2017. Owen
