Brad - do you mean you are trying to get the same color black as the standard story font color? The Clear Color button in the upper right can be used to clear any color you applied to text. Owen

Actually, I have an idea for what might be going on. It has to do with how the color picker behaves. The initial location for the color selector is on the far left of the color field, which represents black/dark color. If you just click a color on the horizontal selector the color won't change because that color selector dot is still giving you a very dark version of the color you selected. This shouldn't affect picking a color chip from the palette or entering a hex code though. Try moving that dot selector to the right in the color field to select a color and see if that works. Bradley, Thanks for your feedback! We are considering more text formatting and margin options for future updates and will take your suggestions into consideration as we work on those. I'm not able to reproduce the issue you described with the color picker. Currently when you select a color in the picker you have to click "Choose" for the color to be applied to your text. Are you not seeing the color applied after clicking "Choose?" (We're planning to improve this experience in the future to give you a preview of the selected color while the color picker is open.) Hi Oscar, We'll look into the issue on IE. Thanks for reporting that. You can use the browser's print options to print to a PDF. It's slightly different in each browser, but instead of choosing a printer you choose "Print to PDF." If the author created their own PDF for the story, the "A Story Map" link in the header can be customized to link to the PDF. Owen

Hi Katy, The fix has been deployed, I was able to verify it with a few other Cascade stories, but when I tried to test your story the scene still doesn't load. I searched for the scene by it's ID on ArcGIS Online but couldn't find it, so I think the web scene might be currently unshared. Can you please try sharing the scene and any layers in it and trying your story again? Owen

Hi Katy, Very sorry, but this is a bug that was introduced in last night's ArcGIS Online update. There is an issue with Cascades that have web scenes prompting for login even though the scene/layers are public. We have a fix and will be patching tonight. Sorry again that this issue affected you. Hi Scott, We've identified the issue with the login screen as a bug that was introduced in last night's update. We are working on a fix that will be deployed tonight. I apologize for the trouble. Regarding your other question about bookmarks and sections: I'm working on a GeoNet blog post on this, but that is expected due to a change we made in how sequential sections are implemented in this beta release. You can no longer have two sequential sections in a row. If you made a story like this in beta 1 or if you create this situation, for example by deleting or moving an immersive section, sequential sections will be combined. In your case, you also lost a bookmark since the sequential section that had the bookmark was combined with a previous section when you opened builder for the first time after the update. I'd recommend inserting a title section to break up your story and you can add a new bookmark on the new title section or on the new sequential section following the title section. Hi Carly, Hosting app code on ArcGIS Online is not supported. You'll have to host the app on your own server or other web-enabled file hosting service (like Amazon S3). You can find more documentation on how to deploy a custom story map on the GitHub repo for one of our storytelling apps.
