Oh, I see now. As you mentioned above, I would make sure that you are using the generic www.arcgis.com URL when you embed story maps in your main story map. It looks like the story maps are embedded using the org URL.

Erik -- That's not just a web map in section 3 of your story map -- that's a self-hosted Web AppBuilder app. Since you are using multiple apps and have private content I would suggest that you contact Esri Support and they can help you troubleshoot further.

Hi Erik -- Have you confirmed that members of the other organization can open the web map (outside of the story map) and see all of its layers? Do you also have the story map shared to the private group (I understand it is also shared with everyone)? Can you share the link to your public story map here so we can take a look?

Hi Kelly -- Looks like this is a bug. We'll fix it in the next release in early December. For now, if you need to organize the sections of your journal you can temporarily fix the issue by adding some CSS in Chrome's dev tools. This won't last between builder sessions (if you reload you'll need to do this fix again). See below. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mila -- Sorry you are getting unexpected results with your story map. If you have not shared your story then no one else, other than administrators in your organization, is able to see it. Could you describe a little more about how your story is configured, what is happening, and what you expect to happen? Also, if you could share a few screenshots that might help clarify what is going on.

Hi Mila -- We strongly advise against autoplaying videos with sound as that is not a best practice for web design and is something that is almost universally disliked. In fact, web browsers are starting to block autoplaying videos with sound. Just check out the titles of the results for a web search for "browser autoplay with sound." When you do add video with sound to Map Journal (hopefully without autoplay 😉 ) and need to use URL parameters to hide related videos or set the start time you'll need to add the video as a web page. In this case should use the option to "unload when reader navigates away" so that the sound for a video doesn't keep playing when readers move to a different section.

Hi Jonathan: Yes, you can embed a Survey123 form in a Cascade story -- as long as your survey does not require the respondents to sign in. I'd recommend embedding only for very simple, short surveys. If your survey is long or complex (or if it requires respondents to log in) then it's best to include a hyperlink to your survey somewhere in the text of your story (typically near the end) so readers can open the survey form in a new browser tab. Below is a screenshot of the survey configuration. Just copy the "survey link" and enter that in Cascade's Link to Content panel. For the media configuration options I'd recommend using a LARGE size and leaving the default interaction mode of "interaction enabled."

Hi Molly, Video hosting sites like YouTube and Vimeo have URL parameters that let you configure options such as autoplay and looping. If you want to use one of these parameters you should add the video to your story map using the Web Page option (rather than Video). Hello -- The crowdsource app accepts lat/long values from contributors, but will reverse geocode them to make them more friendly for most readers. The only way to show a lat/long would be to download the app, customize it, and host it yourself.

Alexis -- Also, I forgot to mention that we fixed a few story map pop-up issues last week in the latest update to ArcGIS Online, so you may want to try your pop-up configuration again today to see if it is working now.
