Hi Robin -- Sorry you are having an issue with your Cascade story. I have seen some embedded web pages hijack the focus of the page and cause a Cascade story to jump to their location, although I haven't seen it specifically with Web AppBuilder apps. Some web pages/apps force focus and produce an unwanted experience. The best Cascade stories don't require the reader to do much interaction with the story content/maps while experiencing the story. Are you able to use a simple web map in your story to avoid embedding more sophisticated mapping apps with more buttons and features that distract from your narrative (and in this case are causing other issues as well)? You can always provide a link out to the full app (which will open in a new tab) so interested readers can do more exploring.

Donna -- We are still considering adding a setting to show the legend in a future release of Cascade. For now, if coloring text doesn't work for your story, you can add an image to serve as a legend. Simply take a screenshot of the map's legend in the ArcGIS map viewer or create your own graphic using drawing tools in PowerPoint or a more advanced drawing app like PhotoShop.

I'm sorry, but I have to amend my response. I initially missed that you are attempting to collaborate with someone outside your organization. Currently, the ability to co-edit items in ArcGIS Online is limited to members of the same organization. That is documented here.

There is no practical limit to how many people can view your story map at the same time. This is one of the advantages to using a cloud platform like ArcGIS Online. The infrastructure scales to meet demand without you having to worry about it. The StoryMaps hosted on ArcGIS Online received over 2 million views over the last seven days.

You'll need an administrator to create the group that allows you to collaborate on story maps and invite you to the group. Once that is created and you are a member of the group, you'll be able to share your items to that group for other group members to edit.

Joe -- If you want to utilize YouTube URL parameters you can add your video link to the story map as Web Page instead of Video content. Keep in mind, however, that in general autoplaying videos with sound is not encouraged. In fact, if your video has sound, web browsers may block autoplaying it based on their content policies. Here are some articles with more information about how and why browsers block content autoplay: Autoplay Policy Changes | Web | Google Developers https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/story-maps/sharing-collaboration/videos-with-sound-in-cascade

Hi Dakota -- You're right, the UI is a little different. Share is still there, though, you just need to have at least one item selected to see it.

Hi Dakota -- That blog is still current. You need to be a member of a group that has the collaborative update option (described in the "How to enable and use item collaboration" section of that blog) enabled to see the Access and Update Capabilities option when sharing an item.

Hi Jamie -- Sharing to a group won't be reported in that badge or in the story map builder since group sharing isn't supported at this time. Sorry we weren't able to troubleshoot this here, but I'm sure Tech Support will be able to help you get things resolved.

Hi Kevin -- You can already add any of the great reports or infographics from other Esri products to story maps as simple screenshots or you can upload a PDF report anywhere on the web and embed the PDF. If you upload a PDF to your ArcGIS Online account you'll just need to share it publicly to add it to a story map. Would one of those workflows work for you or are you looking for something else?

Hi Jamie -- At this time, the Story Map Builders don't support sharing a story directly to a group. But you can share stories to groups manually from your Content, as you expected. The thing to note is that story maps contain maps and layers, and all of the story's maps and layers must be shared to the group as well. When you share a story with your organization or with everyone from the builder the builder takes care of setting the sharing permissions on all of the maps and layers. But when you want to share a story to a group you need to share the story as well as all the maps and layers to the group from your Content page. If you don't own some of the maps and layers in your story you'll need to invite the owner(s) to the group and ask them share those items to the group. Here's an article with some additional information on working with story maps that might be helpful to you.

Hello Alexandra -- Sorry you are having trouble getting your audio clip into a story map. To add an audio file from the web, the link you paste into Cascade Builder must be a direct link to an MP3 file, like this: https://www.stpeterschorus.ca/extra/Mp3s/2005Spring/01%20O%20Canada.mp3 The link in your screenshot is a link to a Google Drive page, not an MP3 file. Google Drive is a very useful personal file storage service, but it's not a file hosting platform. While you can use it to upload and share files with others, sharing is accomplished via Google Drive web pages (where your files can be downloaded or previewed by others) as opposed to direct file access. As far as I can tell, Google Drive's public sharing options do not allow you to provide others with direct HTTPS access to your uploaded files, which is what 3rd party applications like Cascade Builder require to access files. To make your file available in your story you'll need to either upload the audio file directly in Cascade Builder or host it on a true web server or with a service that allows direct HTTPS access such as Amazon S3.

Looks like you've already discovered how to create story actions, so you could provide a story action link in the side panel that shows the back of the postcard in the main stage. When you set up your story action, just choose a different type of media and you can have the action change the map in the main stage to an image. Be sure to pick FIT or maybe even CENTER for the position option so the image of the postcard's back doesn't get cropped. You can have all the points in the map at once, if you want. Just add them all to the same map notes layer. You can use your action links to pan/zoom the map to center on a specific one.
