Hi, I tried to update the banner to my Developer ArcGIS Online account and although the return was True, the home page is still default. I am using custom HTML & CSS that I read from a .txt file and that variable I`m passing as a parameter to the method. The .txt file has custom html elements and css into it, which, if I take it with copy-paste, it`s working just fine. Has anyone encountered this problem? Thanks, Ionut

Hi Atma, Thanks for your input. I have added the Feature Collection into GIS and after published as Feature Layer; after publishing, I have updated the webmap`s JSON to include the Feature Layer and created the map. Thanks a lot! Ionut

Hi all, Is it possible to save into account a map created with GIS.map() and with 2 layers added into it (map.add_layer()) which are in-memory (layers are feature collections from a pandas data frame - with 2 columns, x and y) ? And after to insert the id of the saved map into an application json and publish the app? Thanks, Ionut

Hi Clinton, Thanks for the reply and your feedback!! Trying to reply in the order you provided: 1. I have re-installed ArcGIS Pro and when I try to reinstall arcgis package, it shows the loading bar, it appears as it was installed but after I can`t find it at installed packages, it`s still at packages available to install (to add), so no install. I had 0.1 verison before re-installed and working... 2. I have admin privileges on my computer; I have installed Anaconda 3 (3.6 - 64 bits) in C:/Users/%user%/ Anaconda3; It also created a path in the environment variables on C:\Users\%user%\Anaconda3\Scripts 3. That refresh button does the refresh but still no changes when installing argis package 4. Anaconda3 has a path in env variables 5. I`ll wait for arcpy for jupyter nootebook. Now, the problems seems to be at installing arcgis in Pro 2.0.... Thanks, Ionut

Hi Atma, I have Pro 2.0 installed on my computer, updated via the updater window when started Pro 1.4... Python version installed with Pro is 3.5.3; Now I`m not really sure where does that 3.4 version of python comes from.... Also, In ArcGIS Pro I`m not having problems importing arcpy or arcgis Thanks, Ionut

Hi David, I also had this problem in another topic on this group. The solution was the way Rohid said, but with coordinates in DD format. I had the list of coordinates in DMS format and it wasn`t working for me. See here: https://community.esri.com/thread/198787-display-array-of-multiple-coordinates-xy-in-the-map-object Thanks, Ionut

Hi Rohit, I did with the 2nd option you told me about. Everything is working great. Also, a note, It was only working with coordinates as DD; I tried with DMS and the points don`t plot in the map. As you can see in picture below, I have DD format coordinates, I put them into a pandas data frame and after I add as layer into the map object. Thanks!

Hi Atma, Yes, I also think that the first problem I reported should be investigated by the Pro team, it may be a bug or something. Also, I started Python cmd as Admin and tried to update arcgis but there`s a conflict or something and also, if I try to open jupyter notebook, I am missing some modules I think... If I install Anaconda 3 and also Python API, isn`t there another way to "bring" ArcGIS Pro arcpy into it? Thanks, I really appreciate your support! Ionut

Hi Atma, I have tried using ArcGIS Pro and I saw that I already had arcgis package installed (version 0.1); when I tried to update it, it ran a progress bar but nothing happened, nothing updated, and I don`t know why. After that, I opened Python command prompt of ArcGIS Pro and typed "jupyter notebook" and got an error.. Thanks, Ionut

Hi, I have 3 versions of Python installed on my machine, 1st (v 2.7) which came with ArcMap 10.5, 2nd (v 3.5) which came with ArcGIS Pro and 3rd (v 3.6) which came with Anaconda 3 (for using Jupyter Nooteboks). Now, in my notebooks I can use arcgis python API but I also want to use arcpy modules from ArcGIS Pro. Is there a workflow for this setup or some steps to take ? Thanks, Ionut

Hi, I have a workflow in which I obtain lat/long from .jpg pictures taken with a drone and obtain an array of multiple lists in which I have the lat and long values. I am thinking of iterate the array, create points using arcgis.geometry.Point method and plot those points in the map object created before. I`m not sure if I should, somehow, create graphics from those points or I should create a feature inside my account and insert the point values as records in the feature and after that add the feature into the map as a layer? Thanks, Ionut

Hi Robert, Thanks for the reply. Well, I`m not sure if I made myself clear or similar, but after I manually created the cache data for the published layers, in the .mxd I have replaced the layers with the cache data and published again as a dynamic map service, so the data could load faster in the web map.... So in the end I have a dynamic map service which has some groups and sub-groups of layers (which in the published .mxd are the cached data from another process of publishing). Hope this helps. But if the Map object returns the requests as PNG tiles for a dynamic map service, I think it doesn`t matter the workflow anymore.. Thanks, Ionut

Hi guys, I have a question regarding changing the format for the request for data (map services) inside an application made with WAB for developers (2.4). The application contains several layers which were cached layers published as map services. The cache format is JPG but when I check the request format for data, the format request from client is PNG and the data is loading very slowly, even if the service is cached data. If someone could tell me where exactly to modify or to specify the request format; if I should specify in WAB code or if there`s something about the GIS service that should be changed.. The serivce request looks like this: https://domain/arcgis/rest/services/Folder/ServiceName/MapServer/export?dpi=96&transparent=true&format=png32&layers=show%3A-1%2C-1%2C-1&bbox=-108530.93828921515%2C225676.9179301192%2C1110671.5001156619%2C816228.0990324814&bboxSR=3844&imageSR=3844&size=1536%2C744&f=image Also, none of the layers in ArcMap had transparency before publishing.. Thanks, Ionut

Hi Derek, Regarding the Reporting widget mentioned in the post from the blog (Creating a Custom Widget for Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS using the Report Class | ArcGIS Blog ), I have added the jsPDF API capability to be able to export the report, client-side, into a pdf document, but there are some problems with the pdf`s template (it doesn`t maintain the template in the html page created by the widget, or some specific characters). Do you guys know a workaround to save that report into a pdf document or generate a pdf report by a custom template? Thanks, Ionut
