Hi David, Thanks for the patch; I haven`t tried it yet, but for now, for my knowledge, this patch will provide compatibility between CE 2016.1 and Lumenr RT and that script for exporting the scene will finally work? Thank a lot, Ionut

Hi Thomas, Besides the plug-in, why there isn`t anymore the option to export directly to LumenRT in 2016.1 version? ... Thanks!

Hi Mohammad, Well I don`t think collada (.dae) will be suitable because it`s a very large scene (huge); I also tested the plug-in (LumenRT plug-in to CityEngine) but, indeed, it`s not working properly... neither exporting the scene as pieces of .obj`s will work because I don`t want to import separately the pieces ... I`m thinking of having 2 versions of CityEngine installed on the machine until something will work with 2016.x verisons...:) Ionut

Hi guys, I have noticed that @2016.1 version of CityEngine, there isn`t anymore the option to export to LumenRT directly and I was wondering if the name was replaced by something else (say E-on software VUE? ) or there isn`t anymore this possibility? If not, the solution would be to export the entire scene as OBJ and import it to LumenRT or to install the LumenRT plugin ? Thank you, Ionut

Hello, As seen today that ArcGIS Python API finally released I tried to test some functionality and saw that, at some point, I couldn`t import arcgis.features module as described in the guide from the page (Working with feature layers and features | ArcGIS for Developers). Has anyone had this error? I`m not sure if it`s a bug or is something from my setup or install... Thanks, Ionut

Hello! Sorry for not replying in time! Regarding what i`ve asked, my solution was to have 4 records in the feature class used in CE and have a rule applied differently to those shapes, exactly how you said and did. It looks awesome what you`ve done in the animation above Thank you!

Hi Curt, Well I just created different features similar to the shapes of the constrution. It was easier and also easier to apply different rules to obtain the result Thanks for the feedback! Ionut

Hi Chris, Well, I do need this model made procedurally because there are some possibilities to apply the rule to an entire block. It would be easier to make it manually in Maya I think but I have to have a rule for it...:) Do you have an idea how to split the roofs into those shapes? Thanks!

Hello guys, I`m trying to write a cga code for generating a futuristc building but I`m having some problems in spliting the roofs and applying different heights. To understand better I have attached some pictures of the building I need to recreate. I tried to define different roofs and apply a setback or a split to obtain those shapes but I didn`t had a reference.. Do you guys know how to split the building in the form from pictures so I will be able to apply different height to obtain that form? Thanks, Ionut

Hello, I have created coxcombs for some indicators in my country at a regional level. I want to apply a unique value simbology based on a field to have different colors. The problem in my situation is that the slices in coxcomb are different as scale based on some values stored on a field, and because of this differences in scale and values, some of the slices are visibile, some aren`t. Please check printscreen for better understading. As you can see, the coxcombs represent 2 facts(indicators). Where the "Yellow" indicator`s value is bigger than Blue`s, the yellow slice is bigger and visibile, but when the situation is opposite, I can only see the Blue Indicator Slices and the Yellow Slices(because of a smaller value) are hidden beneath... Do you know if there are some representation rules or something to dynamic/automatical resolve this issue? Thanks!! Ionut

Hi Jennifer, So you query the data from the parent table and you can run a query but can not see the results? Well, for what I understood, have you setup the results in the filter configuration in WAB? Like checking the field/data you want to appear? Ionut
