Keyboard access is needed to tab between clusters. I've never done this, but it seems that Google has already figured this out for accessibility. We can't afford and Google (and ESRI does more) so I hope this can be incorporated soon. This is how Google does this: https://equalentry.com/accessible-maps-on-the-web/

I'd like clustering to be available on screen readers for accessibility. Is that also something that is being developed? Can you add some keyboard shortcuts? I read a blog that Google Maps made these cluster maps easier to read on a screen reader. #accessibility #federal accessibility standards

Ok thanks. So far I've only found a GoogleMaps Javascript API sample for accessibility.

Could you please create a simple example like the sample maps on your JavascriptAPI web pages? e.g. Load a basic WebMap | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.12

I think the dashoard is a simpler more focused app intended for high level decision makers or someone who really doesn't want to dig too far into the data. Insights I'm guessing is meant to compete with Tableau ,and aimed at people who want to dig into a lot of data. Although I have only seen demos of Insight.

Thanks. You're right I can call dojo, but am wondering why ESRI has moved away from calling this?

I am really wondering if ESRI is no longer using Tooltips as they are not accessible? https://dojotoolkit.org/reference-guide/1.10/dijit/Tooltip.html#examples Accessibility Tooltips are displayed when the associated item receives focus or a mouseover event. Be careful when assigning tooltips to arbitrary elements such as spans of text which may not receive keyboard focus because users of assistive technology or keyboard only users will not benefit from the tooltip

I used the hitTest on pointer-move to query a map layer using a mouse over event, with the output being in an info div on the MapView. As the user moves the cursor around, the attributes are displayed in the info div. However our users want the old hover tool tip functionality like this version 3 sample https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/sandbox/sandbox.html?sample=fl_hover Is there a way to do this in version 4 where the Tooltip Dialog follows the cursor around? Or is there a reason not to use a Tooltip? Is a Tooltip Dialog not accessible, or as usable, or compatible on different devices?

It seems like this is an issue for IE 11.0 not IE11.2 Sadly 11.0 is our department standard (5 years behind the times)

I have some interactive maps with geocoding, goTo, identifyTask and popups that work fine in Chrome, FireFox and sometimes in IE. They don't really need version 4, but were easy to convert to 4.x. My version of IE 11 doesn't like it. I get intermittent errors in IE11 that go away after clearing the cache and reloading the page, but then come back after a while. After a while IE throws an error and a simple counties featureLayer does not load: esri.layers.graphics.controllers.SnapshotController] [snapshotcontroller:tile-request-failed]: Failed to query for features [snapshotcontroller:tile-request-failed]: Failed to query for features Also the popup (view.popup) stops working after a while, but does not give any errors. Then when zooming out it loads no layers. I don't need 3D so I should just keep writing JS in version 3.x until version 3 is officially deprecated? Has anyone else come across this issue? and Yes..I have not opened a ticket

Now that I forced myself to use ArcGIS Pro, I like it better than ArcMap... with the exception of publishing map services. I do not have Portal installed yet, so I have to use ArcMap for managing map services. I used ArcInfo command line a long, long time ago...so the quote should be..... "It is time to buy a better computer and adapt, or become a manager."
