Hi! Once you've added a map to a layout using a map frame, you can change its projection. To do this, right-click the Map in the Contents Pane and choose properties Then adjust the coordinate system on the Map Properties window that appears. It is important to know that if you change the map coordinate system in the layout, it is also changed in the map view and vice versa. Map frames on layouts just reflect the map.

Hi! As long as you have a spatial map series set up on your layout the dynamic option should be enabled. It make look slightly confusing because the box remains greyed out until you pick the Dynamic radio button. Bookmark map series, and layouts without a map series, don't support dynamic pictures so the option is greyed out. Hopefully this helps!

If you upgrade to ArcGIS Pro 2.6 or beyond, you can add geolocated text via map graphics. Learn more here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.6/help/mapping/layer-properties/graphics-layers.htm

I'm not sure about auto-generating bookmarks, but if you want to create a layout and add the map to it you can then create a spatial map series with the extent set to center and maintain scale. A new page will be generated for each point and you can quickly move between pages. Learn more here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/create-a-map-series.htm

Hello @MiguelMartinezYordan I work on the Pro Layout team, and I think I'm starting to understand your issue. Would you mind verifying that I'm interpreting things correctly? First, the layers list shouldn't collapse between opening layouts. The map frame expanded state is remembered at the layout level (so if you create the layout with the map frame expanded in the Contents Pane, when you open it again the map frame should still be expanded). If you aren't seeing this, that is probably a bug in the software. Please reach out to tech support so they can log it and get it to the developers. Is this the design you are looking for? Would you want the layout tab viewable at all times in the map? Or only when you have a layout opened? If you do want it viewable at all times in the map view that might be confusing, since any map can have multiple layouts associated with it. Are you aware of this idea: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/locked-multiple-layouts-in-arcgis-pro/idi-p/924876? It's not the same as what you are proposing, but the use case is similar. It might be a different way to solve your problem. I'm sorry this is a currently a frustrating experience for you, thank you for reaching out. I hope I'm beginning to understand your request. Cheers, Aubri Kinghorn

Hi! You can't transpose a table like that without converting to graphics, but you can use table dynamic text instead. Table dynamic text will display records from an attribute or stand-alone table in your map and update dynamically. It even supports the map series row query like dynamic tables. Because it's just text, you can style it on multiple rows or any other way you'd like. You can even add static graphics behind it to give a table appearance. Learn more here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/add-dynamic-text.htm (scroll to the Table Dynamic Text section).

Hi, Sometimes the maximum tile size gets exceeded when exporting causing problems with the output. In that case, lowering the DPI usually reduces the tile size and fixes the problem. Have you tried lowering the DPI to see if that fixes it? If you can provide a project package, or reach out to technical support to create a bug this is something our dev teams would like to look at. Cheers, Aubri

Custom grids won't work here. A custom grid is drawn over a map frame on a layout using an existing feature layer. The feature layer acts as the grid lines, and the custom grid functionality provides labeling for those lines outside the map frame in the grid style. Custom grids can't create lines, just labels for existing lines. It sounds like you need to create a feature of some sort. There may be some geoprocessing tools that will help, or you can try creating the line yourself. Once you have the line, there are tools to calculate the length.

That's sad, I was hoping it was an easy fix. Unfortunately, though it sounds like a bug. Could you reach out to Esri technical support? They can create a bug and send it to the dev team. You can reach them here: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support

Interesting! Have you tried checking or unchecking the Only show chart data visible in the map frame option? Depending on the extent of the map frame and the data you might need to uncheck this option to see the chart populate. (To open this pane, right-click on the chart and choose Properties from the context menu)
