Hi Tyler, Few questions: Could you enable this dataset with a prior release? What DBMS are you using? Is the failure specific to this dataset (ie, have you tried others)? If you share the asset package, I can take a look. pleblanc@esri.com

When you are copying the simple features into EGDB, are you using a feature dataset? If there aren't errors in the asset package then I would expect the same simple features in EGDB to also not be in error. For test 2, how are you creating the UN -- are you using Stage Utility Network (in the asset package tools) or Create Utility Network (the core geoprocessing tool)? Can you share the asset package? You can email pleblanc@esri.com

To clarify, for the first test, there is no utility network -- just simple point/line/polygon feature classes with data?

untools 2.4.2* has the option to maintain editor tracking (it is disabled by default) for both import/export. Before running the GP tool, open a Python window and execute the following: import untools untools.common.settings.MAINTAIN_EDITOR_TRACKING = True * it is currently planned to be released in the first week of October

In the next few releases, we'd like these asset package errors to link out to some help pages, similar to core error messages with a deeper explanation and potential solutions. I agree that some of the error messages are a bit cryptic.

Right now, you would need to create your UN and add the domain network manually, disable editor tracking, apply the asset package, and re-enable. We are working on a solution for this is 2.5 where editor tracking will be maintained by default in import/export asset package.

I think this might be BUG-000123356: Unable to use the Apply Asset Package tool to create.. This should impact all DBMS platforms I have a local fix currently in testing, and should be released with untools 2.4.2 in October.

If you run the following from the python window in Pro, what does it show? import untools untools.__version__ dir(arcpy.pt) If StageUtilityNetwork shows up here, that means it is installed but is hidden from the UI. Not sure what could cause only this tool to do this...

If you start from scratch and disable parallelProcessing, you should not see this error. At this time, we're still unsure why the GP says it failed at the top but succeeded in the messages.

I'll take a look at the field type mismatch, that does seem strange. I'll forward on the doc feedback, thanks!

Currently, yes. By design, the tool outputs to FGDB. It's a bug that it doesn't work with input from SDE.
