So I want to symbolize a polygon layer with two different symbols: one is red if it hasn't been surveyed in the last 30 days. The other is gray if it has been surveyed in the last 30 days. This is the expression I wrote, but the symbology is homogeneously red! No difference, despite differences in values in my fields: var rightnow = now() var lastedit = $feature.LastSurveyDate var difference = (rightnow - lastedit) If (difference >30) { return "This has not been surveyed in past 30 days" } else { return "This has been surveyed in past 30 days" } HALP!

Hi, we have a workflow that requires offline editing in Collector Aurora. There are two layers that sync and receive and send edits. There is never an error when syncing. However, only edits for one layer actually sync and are reflected in ArcGIS online. The other does not. They are all using the same feature services (no "views") The layer that is syncing is a point layer. The layer that is not syncing is a polygon layer. The polygon layer also has thousands of polygons on it, but there is only an attribute (the date field) being updated.

So - My issue seemed to be somewhere in a Feature Class that was derived from Survey123. I took it out and then re-added it (as is) and it seemed to resolve the issue. HOWEVER, then I was unable to click on the resulting S123 points in Collector to edit them (even though they were enabled for editing.) BUT, I could add a point straight from Collector. YET - the questions from S123 were showing up as barcode scan fields! So now I have more questions than answers. I did talk to ESRI about it and they were unable to figure out the issue. I've updated them as well on these recent "findings"

Were you able to figure this out? We're also having the same issue. Additionally, we aren't able to download the pre-defined map areas. I've gone through documentation and I don't see any reason why these areas are unable to download.

I have multiple boolean fields in (1,0) and if they have a 1 they should have a score associated. I have many of these and don't want to write if statements for every single one. How can I string them all together? I tried: When($feature.Cracks == 1,$feature.Sc_Cracks, $feature.Branch_Unions == 1,$feature.Sc_Branch_Unions, $feature.StemBranch_Decay == 1, $feature.Sc_StemBranch_D, $feature.Fungal_Bodies == 1,$feature.Sc_Fungal_Bodies, $feature.Cankers == 1,$feature.Sc_Cankers, $feature.DeadTree_Top_Branch == 1,$feature.Sc_DeadTopBrch, $feature.Beetles == 1,$feature.Sc_Beetles, $feature.Root_Damage == 1,$feature.Sc_Root_Damage, $feature.Architecture == 1,$feature.Sc_Architecture,'') But it would only return one value, not all of them (if there were more than one.) I don't think it likes the multiple fields. Help pleasseeeee!

Ok after more trial and error, I seem to have gotten the result I was looking for with the following forumla: if(selected(${Dead_Tree},'yes'),8,((${Highest_Pot_Score})+(${Total_Fail_Potent})))

I have a field that I'm calculating based off inputs from other fields. If a tree is dead, it gets a score of 8. If a tree isn't dead, then the score is calculated by adding two other values together. I have written: if(selected(${Dead_Tree},'yes'),8,''),if(selected(${Dead_Tree},'no'),'int(${Highest_Potential})+int(${Total_Failure})','') However I keep getting "bad node" errors. How do I write the proper expression?

James Tedrick‌ ... can you help with an issue I'm having with conditionals? I'm trying to tell Survey123 to assign a value based on a response from a prior yes/no question. If yes, the field gets a value of 8. If no, then it needs to perform a calculation based on two other fields. I have: if(selected(${Dead_Tree},'yes'),8, if(selected(${Dead_Tree},'no'),'(${Highest_Pot_Score})+(${Multiple_Defects_Score})' but this isn't working. I've tried variations on this, but so far I haven't gotten it to work. Help! Please.

Oh I was over-complicating it! For anyone else that may come across this thread, I would like to add that additionally, I needed there to be a bit of text prior to the attribute so my final expression was the following: IIf($feature.Status=='Assigned', "Action Assigned: " + $feature.Assignment_Type, "") Thank you for your help.

I have a hosted feature layer where there are two fields I'm concerned with: Status and Assignment_Type The status can be reported, assigned or completed. If it's assigned, then an assignment type is given. I want the popup to display the Assignment_Type only when the Status field = "Assigned" I have written: If($feature.Status=='Assigned'){ return ($feature.Assignment_Type) } else{ return "" } However, the Assignment_Type shows up unconditionally! What am I doing wrong?

I was also having this same issue. The bind field suggestion for all my values in the formula made it work properly. Thank you James Tedrick!

Oh look at me go! I answered my own question. I had a field called "Hazard Rating" that I was trying to automatically calculate based on a multiple_select question called "Fail_Potential". In the calculation for Hazard Rating I put this: if(count-selected(${Fail_Potential}) = 1, ‘0’, if(count-selected(${Fail_Potential})>1, ‘1’, ${Fail_Potential})) AND IT WORKS!

I have a select_multiple question in my Survey123 where a field worker can select multiple defects on a tree. Then, a later question asks if there are multiple defects on the tree. If yes, then that gets a score of 1. If it's just one defect, that gets a score of 0. I want this question to automatically calculate based on the select_multiple for tree defects. How would I calculate this?

Also having this issue in 2.2.4 - and as above, it appeared "overnight"... was working fine all day yesterday. Suddenly not working fine this morning. Same scenario - generating cache - cache failed - failed to load system tools. Rebooted APro, still an issue.
