Hello, I'm going to assume that you are using either the ArcGIS Online print service or the out of the box print service that comes with ArcGIS Enterprise. If so, then the print layouts are fixed and cannot be modified. You can change some elements, like the title or the date, etc but not what is included or not (eg the attribute text under the scale bar). However, if you are referencing a custom print service (only on ArcGIS Enterprise) that has custom print layouts then it may be possible to talk with the custodian of this print service to produce print layouts to your requirements.

Hi Eric, My feeling is that having 2 different version of the same api will likely lead to clashes when trying to resolve function, package and variable names. You 'might' be able to create different packages within your code that are scoped to use a particular version of the api but that would rely on you separating out code. Even then I would still be worried about resolution problems in the global scope.

Hello, ArcGIS Enterprise is generally pretty resilient and copes with the underlying machine being shut down unexpectedly. You should set each ArcGIS Enterprise component Windows service to start with Automatic - Delayed to give it the best chance of success when reboots occur. In addition ensure that you take regular machine snapshots as a disaster recovery option.

Hello, In a live environment it is best to have an outage to avoid users making configuration changes during the patch installation. Data Store is only accessed through Portal/ArcGIS Server, so you don't need to shut that service down. You can put Portal and ArcGIS Server into read only mode to enforce an outage. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/read-only-mode-in-arcgis-enterprise.htm https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/administer/windows/change-the-arcgis-server-site-mode-in-manager.htm I would also ensure that there are recent snapshots of the impacted machines before running the patch installation process.

Hello, I think you might want to do a join the old layer to the new layer based on some unique attribute (not objectid). You can then export that layer to a new feature class and drop any duplicate/unwanted attributes. Mark

ArcGIS Enterprise is not very supportive of this with out of the box functionality. To do it with no customisation you would have to create a separate service for each user. The service would be filtered to show each user's features only. Then you would have to create a web map and web app for each user, which is probably not doable if you have large numbers of editors. The alternative is to do some customisation. Esri has something called a Server Object Interceptor. An SOI can extend an existing service type, eg Feature Service and interrogate inbound and outbound traffic. The SOI could interrogate the username and then use it to filter the features that it returns. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/sdk/latest/windows/dd498975-67da-4dbb-ad53-c5a1555c65cd.html

Hello Helena, Map service performance issues can have a number of root causes: - One or many of the layer data sources could have some issues slowing down data access. Things like complex database views, lack of indexes, network latency can all contribute to this - Complex symbology can slow down rendering. Things like cross hatching, label halos, complex labelling rules can be to blame - Showing too many features is a major cause of poor performance. Check to see that the service uses scale dependencies so that only a reasonable number of features are on screen at any given time. Eg, you don't need to see parcel layers at 1:100,000 Given that some of the map service layers are for editing and some are for visualisation I would move the editing layers to a separate service. That way editing activities won't impact visualisation activities as much. You could also make the visualisation layers a Map Image Service rather than a Feature Service to see if this improves things. One other option to consider for your read only service. If there are too many features on screen at a given time, but you absolutely have to have them there, then you could consider tiling that service, which would make it super snappy. Mark

A Map Series has the ability to create a separate page for each feature: MapSeries—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation To be able to leverage this in your web page, you could create a geoprocessing service. The geoprocessing service would take parameters, such as the extent and then create a map series. The resulting pdfs could then be zipped up and returned as the result of the geoprocessing service. You will need access to ArcGIS Enterprise to host the geoprocessing service and also do some coding in Python.

Hello, You will need to use a TextSymbol: TextSymbol | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.17 Code workflow: 1. Have a button that users can click to add text with a listener 2. When the user clicks the button the listener calls a function that prompts the user to click on the map 3. Capture the map click coordinates 4. Prompt the user for the text they wish to write, using a dialog box 5. Add a point graphic to the map using TextSymbol for its symbology

There is a support article on how to do this: FAQ: Is it possible to determine the date of an image from the World Imagery basemap? It refers to ArcMap but you can do the same in Pro. Just bear in mind that there will not be one consistent date across the whole service. This is because the service data is collected from different sources, each with their own collection dates.

Hi John, Do you want to visualise the imagery in Pro? If so, in Catalog, make a folder connection to the directory where your imagery is. Then, if the imagery is of a supported type, you will be able to use it in a map. Bear in mind that if it is a large image (size wise) it may take a little while to render. This can be mitigated by adding the image/s to a mosaic dataset and building overviews/pyramids: Overview of image management—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Mosaic datasets—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Should I build pyramids or overviews?
