Hi @FraserHand , Is memory usage maxed out when that observer runs? I see Not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation in the error message you posted.

Hi Eric, On the Postgres side, all you need is the /data directory. Make a backup of <PostgresInstallDir>/<version>/data Make a back up of the ArcGIS Monitor configuration store Reinstall Postgres on the new disk Restore the /data backup in the new installation If the new disk is on the same machine as the old one, no further action is necessary. If migrating to a new disk on a new machine, re-register the database in ArcGIS Monitor. Josh

Hi Fraser, This is a known issue and is addressed in 2023.3 (see BUG-000160909). Manually deleting records from the database is not recommended or supported but if you choose to proceed with this route, the discover observer would only pick those metrics up again if they exist as processes on the host machine. Hi Fraser. There's two scenarios that could cause this: None of the metrics associated with the component have alerting enabled. The solution would be to enable alerting and set alert thresholds as needed on at least one associated metric. There's an active incident that encompasses the components that is suppressing alerting. The solution would be to go to Administration > Incidents, find the offending incident, and enable "Alerting". Josh

Hey @ShaunLangley, If you query the feature service outside of Arcade (i.e. using a REST client like Postman), do you see the same behavior? I suspect that the feature count is being limited by your client a.k.a. Arcade. Josh

@Craig_Lunde, "myPortalComponent" is a placeholder; you should replace this with the name of your Portal for ArcGIS component. To see the name of your Portal for ArcGIS component, click the Monitoring tab and filter by "Portal for ArcGIS". If this still doesn't seem to be working, please create a new thread on the community with screenshots of what you are seeing and I can take a look. Josh

Hello, This error message typically indicates that the certificate is using a weak algorithm. You can read more about this issue in the technical article below: https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/problem-openssl-3-x-changes-and-legacy-provider-depreca-000031150 Josh

Hello, You can use very similar data expressions for all of these analysis elements. See the example below, which shows how to configure a data expression to show Total Portal Items... First, I'm targeting the Portal component with the name "myPortalComponent". Second, I'm targeting metrics related to the Portal component whose identifier is "items_total" Third, I'm targeting the metrics data related to the metric targeted above. Since we want the most recent data available, I am requesting metrics data rows that were collected in the past 10 minutes. To create the other elements shown in your screenshot, simply swap out "items_total" with the desired metric in the second step. Josh

Hi @WhitneyLoy, ArcGIS Monitor's SSL provider recently underwent a major version change and, in doing so, has deprecated a number of older and less secure algorithms. Please review the technical article linked below and see if this situation applies to you. https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/problem-openssl-3-x-changes-and-legacy-provider-depreca-000031150 A list of deprecated algorithms can be found here: https://www.openssl.org/docs/man3.0/man7/OSSL_PROVIDER-legacy.html Josh

Hi @MarieCline_Delgado , From the name of the alert (Request Response Time Max), I can tell that the related component was an ArcGIS Server service. This related service must have been deleted from the ArcGIS Server site and as a result, deleted as a component in ArcGIS Monitor, leaving you with this orphaned alert. This is a known issue and is on the roadmap to be fixed in a future release. Josh

Hi @AxelLévy , Yes, the 11.0 license should be valid for 2023.2. Please restart the ArcGIS Monitor Server service, then go to Administration > License and click "Refresh". After that, manually run the discover observer for one of your components and see if the metrics are created and data is collected. If this is still not working, please let me know. Josh

@Pat_Gallagher, this is typically indicative of a permissions issue. More specifically, it sounds like the account used to register the Windows host is missing the permissions necessary to collect CPU metrics. Have you followed the steps in this documentation? https://doc.arcgis.com/en/monitor/latest/get-started/windows/enable-permissions-for-wmi-cimv2.htm
