I believe you are supposed to perform those start/stop/restart/delete service admin tasks in manager only, that is, only if you have a federated setup. At least that's what I've discovered from researching and testing with trail and error. I mean don't get me wrong, I was a bit stumped why it seems like functionality has been taken away in some ways, but I don't see any other alternatives.

Glad I found this thread. I agree with ErikLash1 and pdusza, this should be in the documentation for federated server publishing/cache creation. I was so used to publishing at the 10.4.1 level I figured it had to be the same workflow ... well it is but it isn't haha. So many little things you would never think of are different, especially if you have moved from a simple to a federated setup.

I know this is an old thread, but I had this exact issue today. Occurred on two newly created geometric networks (had to make some big schema changes on the underlying feature classes, hence the need to create new networks). And it happened in both our dev and production environments. Both times I removed the edit privileges and added them back and the error message went away.

I'm running into the same issue as well. Tried a few different zip files but encounter the error each time.

Our organization is trying to create a brand new workforce project, but we are encountering an error. This occurs right after the Create Project button is selected and a name/summary is picked; the project begins loading but the following error appears: Note we've tried a couple different times to create a project, using different accounts (eg. a creator and an admin AGOL account) and also with different names but keep getting the same error. Any idea why workforce would be throwing this error?

Ran into this exact issue today with the Water Distribution Utility Network Foundation template and going through the Leak Location Task. Remapping the broken paths fixed the issue.

Good to know. Just for reference, before I switched over to Connect, my Web Designer survey also had an address question type before the other questions with rules applied. So the bug affected my survey as well.

Was able to test it out in Connect and it works just fine. Relatively easy to set up as well. Just needed to add a few simple calculations.

I'm also running into the same issue. Brand new survey in web designer, rules will not stay in preview or when publishing. Going to try and see if the same behavior occurs using connect.

Are you sure this has been fixed with 3.13? I'm currently running that version and am running into the OP and others have run into; I set some rules and as soon as I preview or publish, they disappear. Note I am using the web version and have not tested out connect yet.

I'm a bit confused on the example for storing the location of an address as a point geometry. In the calculations for the x & y fields, I see a reference to a search_address field, but I am not seeing where that field information is coming from.

So after doing a bit more searching, I believe I found the answer: external choice lists. Instead of using one_choice [list name], I was able to test select_one_from_file [file name.csv] and it did the trick. I suppose the main issue I was getting hung up on was the video I was using an example makes it seem like the CSV file used in the pulldata() function auto-populated the select_one field.

Running into an issue in Survey123 Connect with trying to pull in external content via a CSV file into the one_choice field and populating other fields using pulldata(). Basically, when I choose one_choice I get the following error; clearly it wants me to have the list name in the choices sheet. But the weird thing is if I change the field type to just text, everything works fine and all fields populate with no issue. Using the one_choice option, how do I point to the CSV file versus the choices sheet?

Update: spoke to ESRI support and apparently there is a bug with ArcGIS Pro version 2.8 & 2.9 where the folder drop down does not appear when trying to publish an image service (BUG-000143393). The support fellow recommended I try 2.6 as he was able to get it to work at that version in a test environment he had spooled up. Since I already had a test machine at version 2.7, I decided to test that and it worked. In fact, I tested up to version 2.7.4 and it worked as well. Just FYI for anyone having this same issue ...

Ran into this same issues today; went to check geometry on all of our organizations SDE feature classes via python script and received the same error. From what I'm seeing there is no way to directly run check geometry unless you unversion each feature class (which is cumbersome) or if you have a backup, say with a replica, run the tool against that. I plan on going the latter route as we keep daily replicas of the entire database.
