Never mind!!! I see suggestions in the FAQ. That should be good enough to get us rolling.

We're really excited for the release of ArcGIS Monitor! Can you provide system requirements information? The link on this group page just redirects to the ArcGIS Server Enterprise page. I'd like to have our system admin set up a clean server in preparation for the public release in January.

We want to be able to run a report and determine which of our users or items are currently utilizing our assets in an offline capacity. For example, if we deploy a web map with feature services configured for offline mode and synchronization in Collector, we would like to be able to query that web map and determine which users still have the content offline and when they last syncd. There could also be multiple iterations of these reports by which you could query a user and see which maps/services they had offline. The premise behind this request is that if we have an update or maintenance window for our content, but we still have users that have offline content and haven't synced or removed the data from their device, then we run the risk of orphaning their work because of our modifications. If we could run a report and determine a list of users for any given application (offline web map) then we could coordinate with them effectively in advance of changes.

Looking for an up-to-date corollary for a product called SINMAP 2.0 developed by Utah State University (and others). This product was developed for the ArcGIS 9.x environment using VB6. We have end users that would like to utilize this add-in, but there are security and maintenance issues given that support for this technology was deprecated some time ago. http://hydrology.usu.edu/sinmap2 Brian W. Please add the capability to set layer visibility to Web AppBuilder applications using URL parameters. The utility of our custom web applications could be extensively broadened if we could provide specific parameterized URLs targeting specific user groups and/or applications. We do our best to design our apps to be simple and easy to use; however, many users, particularly the public, want to see specific layers without having to search through the list and determine what to turn on or off.

Any updates here? I have some WAB applications that I'd like to create unique URL parameters for to turn specific layers on or off based on what a given target audience wants to see upon first load.

I'm also in search of some best practices and guidelines I can provide to end users. We have a number of Collector workflows out there that are more than likely overwhelming capabilities of sync and offline use because of the number of feature services and associated data they're trying to pull and push. Some of the data we host ourselves and some is hosted in AGOL. We've seen all sorts of errors including those you mention, but they can be very difficult to reproduce in order to identify any root cause.

Hi Robert...yes, I double checked and confirmed that the anonymous access option is enabled. The issue seems to have something to do with the response after the authentication happens. I replicated the same workflow entirely within AGOL by creating a WAB app and sharing it and the associated web map and content to a group with members from another organization. The external users can access the app if they log into their organization, navigate to the group and launch the app, but they cannot if they're sent a link to the app as it resides inside my organization. When the app is opened from the shared group in another organization, it appends their organizational root domain and works just fine. Example: https://MyOrganization.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=12345 https//YourOrganization.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=12345

I'm having trouble allowing users to access a web application that I host in my own IIS environment. The application can be accessed just fine by all AGOL users within my organization, but AGOL users outside my organization can't log in. Some details below: All content (web map, registered web app item referencing URL, hosted layers, etc...) have been shared to group All external users (outside my organization) have been added to group If I change the portalUrl parameter in the config.json file to http://www.arcgis.com rather than my own url, I am able to get passed the isolation to my organization on login but after entering in credentials the error message says the outside account doesn't have access to the item...which is crazy, because it does within AGOL, just not coming in through my own hosted application. I've tried entering multiple portalUrl parameters and adding additional urls to the Cross Domain information, but I'm getting nowhere.

Thanks Robert...I'll change the query to hit Lat/Long rather than an attribute which seems to work fine and respect the zoom level request.

Using URL parameters passed to a web application, does the "zoom to" operation in a query override or take precedence over the level request? Below is a generic example of passing both a query and a level request. The app initially loads and seems to zoom the the appropriate level, but then runs the query against the requested layer and zooms to the feature. https://my.url.com/apps/maps/?query=mypointlayer,myattribute='123abc'&level=12 My issue is that when the map zooms to the point features on the query request, the users has too zoom back out 3 or 4 levels to get a sense of where they're at.

Trying to put together a workflow using WAB that has draw widget functionality but also allows the user to select/move their drawing after it has been created. The standard Draw Widget doesn't seem to allow this select and move functionality and the eDraw Widget is probably a little advanced for our targeted audience.

Not sure what to make of the root cause, but that's our workaround. I just tested and confirmed that it occurs in all our apps, including newly created ones after we upgraded to 2.4 and it does. At any rate, that's our fix and we'll stick to it. I suppose I could fix the root env.js file in the stemapp directory to save time modifying each new app in the future.

Mehretab...we deploy our apps from WAB Developer to IIS; however, we have to modify the env.js file for each app to call out the proper URL for the Esri JavaScript API once published to IIS. On line 61 of the file, I change the string... FROM: apiUrl = null, TO: apiUrl = '//js.arcgis.com/3.19', Referenced here: https://developers.arcgis.com/web-appbuilder/sample-code/change-url-of-arcgis-api-for-javascript.htm
