Totally agree! We've wanted this capability for a few years now. Our end users aren't allowed to run iTunes on their work machines so we're constrained to a handful of off-network laptops that we use to run around side loading basemaps. A streamlined program or ArcGIS Pro tool would be perfect here.

Is it possible to pass an advanced SQL query with this widget? I want to remove dashes "-" from a query of a string field. Users commonly paste the data in from another source which includes these additional characters. See example: Pasted input: 1234 - 4567 - 6789 Value in field/cell: 123445676789 Is this possible? Can I pass a REPLACE operator or some such?

This seems like a rudimentary topic but I'm not finding much. I'm looking for a way to generate a report by interrogating our geodatabases report simple metrics (number of feature classes by type, number of features in each feature class, number of tables, number of records in each table, etc...). I don't see any native tools that accomplish this sort of recap. We could create our own SQL queries, but I though I'd inquire here first. I'd like to keep track of this information as a general communication piece about what exactly my team does. We've been mindfully practicing theAdam Carnow mantra of GIS <> MAP and teaching ourselves to respond that we help people make better decisions by understanding the importance of location! If I had simple metrics like a general report of the databases we maintain, we could add to the mantra things like "we manage well over a million records of location information", etc... Thanks for any input. I'm sure it's relatively simple. My thinking cap isn't on very well today!

Thanks Jacob...we'll plan accordingly and coordinate with end users in advance to check in and redownload web maps after the DNS change. For those that don't, I'll cross my fingers that things automagically still work but plan to have some users with data stranded on mobile devices needing manual offload.

Planning to migrate production web services from 10.3.1 to 10.6.1 in a couple months. We're migrating/staging everything on an entirely new server. The last step will be to switch over the DNS entry from our current 10.3 production server to the new 10.6 instance. The backend data sources will not change. Here's my question/concern: if an end user has content in Collector that originates from 10.3 and then the DNS entry switches over to the new 10.6 server and they try to sync will it fail? The REST endpoint URL will be the same. The backend database/datasource will be the same. It should be transparent and I'm hoping that Collector is none the wiser and that ArcGIS Server (either version) simply brokers the transaction but doesn't place any holds or dependencies.

We have this problem as well. Our issue seems to be related to polygons with complex (multipart or donut) geometry. We get a successful response with all other formats but geoJSON throws an error. I'm going to open a support case on the issue.

We've just encountered this issue with an implementation of the Query Widget in WAB. We have a custom widget that toggles the primary config.json file in order to reload a new web map (58 maps in total). Each of the web maps were duplicated from the same source and they contain the same layers; however, the suffix for each of the operational layers is unique, which in turn breaks the Query Widget for all but the original map. Annoying!!!

Upon further thinking...this really could be an extension of the bookmark widget with the functionality to reload the new URL and associated config file based on the bookmark selection. I just don't quite know how to do that...

Widget idea that I don't have the skills to build: Allow a user to select an option, similar to bookmark widget, that sends an updated request to reload the url to another config.json file. What we want to be able to do is allows a user to select an area of interest and then have the web app refresh and load a config.json file that correlates to the AOI they chose. Example: Web application has 4 config.json files associated with 4 areas of interest. User has a drop-down (similar to bookmark widget) to select their area of interest. AOI #1 = config.json (default created with web app builder) = http://domain.name.com/ This level would be the default landing page. AOI #2 = config_2.json = http://domain.name.com/?config=config_2.json# AOI #3 = config_3.json = http://domain.name.com/?config=config_3.json# AOI #4 = config_4.json = http://domain.name.com/?config=config_2.json# The additional config.json files would load new AGOL web maps specific to the Area of Interest selected by the end user.

Wondering where/how in the WAB code I can disable the popup "The Layer, (all the layer names), cannot be added to the map". I've found where it's called from (\jimu.js\nls\main.js and jimu.js\MapManager.js) but if I simply comment out the associated function and lines then the app breaks. Essentially I'm just trying to remove the warning so that it doesn't pop up as an annoyance to end users, particularly because the list will show over 50 layers for any given user. Just looking for a relatively low-tech solution that'll fit the bill. Thanks...

KGerrow-esristaff...I've long wondered why there isn't a direct charge against user credits for the feature storage they publish. Storage accounts for 98% of the credit consumption for our organization. We currently consume 10-15 credits per day. I can drill down and find the users who have the largest datasets and notify them that there is a cost to storing data in AGOL; however, what I'd really like to see is an impact against their credit budget. Any input?

From my peer in our Data & Systems Team who is setting up our ArcGIS Monitor environment: --------------------------------------------- When I go to use/follow the instructions associated with the LICENSE EXTENSION item located here https://arcgismonitor.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=086ab6e82d0f4506b16a6d335fadc961 on the ESRI ArcGIS Monitoring Gallery website I have an issue. I follow the instructions as outlined in the PDF that ESRI supplied and get to step 4 and have the issue. When I select the NEW EXT I should get a config page/screen on the right side of the ArcGIS Monitor Administrator interface, but instead it is blank. I have restarted the ArcGIS Monitoring server, open and closed the ArcGIS Monitor Administrator interface several times and copied over the file again from the license server, and the error is still the same. --------------------------------------------- Any suggestions?
