How to multiply two layers according specific fields? please, see the attached image that shows my question explanation: I've two rasters shown in the attachment, i need to multiply them based on the R_factor field in the first raster and the A_Factor field in the second raster. how can i perform this multiplication based on these two fields? thank you regards Jamal

Sorting by date in the add data dialogue box. please, see the image below that shows my suggestion. Sometimes, we need to sort the data according the date the same we we do in windows! but unfortunately, we don't have yet this feature in ArcGIS yet.

thank you Eric. it did work. appreciated jamal Jamal, We intentionally dissolve the pixel boundaries (for continuous pixel values) so the output is not so large. This is also why we do not allow you to convert float rasters to polygons. You could potentially end up with billions of polygon records depending on the size of your raster. I would suggest using the Create Fishnet tool that is part of core ArcGIS Desktop. It might take a long time to process if you are going to be creating a lot of cells. If you need to have the raster value associated with the fishnet polygons, convert your raster to points and do a spatial join. Regards, Eric

it didn't work!!!! help, please Thanks Dan. I checked with the Arc10 Resource Center (URL: http://help.arcgis.com/EN/ArcGISDesktop/10.0/Help/00q8/00q80000006m000000.htm) for help with the syntax and case but unfortunately it's still not working: Con(IsNull([point2ras]), FOCALMEAN ([point2ras] , RECTANGLE , 3 , 3, data), [point2ras]) When I run the expression with that structure, Spatial Analyst returns an error saying that the name of the input raster is not defined. I inserted "" around the layer name, re-ran it, and got a different error ['expected a raster or layer name']. I've attached a screen-capture of the error messages, for reference. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Matt

Is there a tool to convert the cells of a raster to vector? Please, see the attached raster Is there a way to get the cells on this raster to vector such that each cell becomes a square in the vector class, therefore, the vector will contains feature equal to number of cells in the raster Of course, I know the tool ???raster to polygon???, but his doesn???t give the vector with individual squares Thank you Regards Jamal

Please, see the attached image that shows my question Many cells in the given raster have no data, all what we need is to fill the ???no data??? cells??? with the average values of their neighborhood We need to fill all the area bounded by magenta border. Yes...That does make sense Patrick, thank you. Hi Jamal, When you run the Clip tool, it does not automatically update your Attribute Table. There is an enhancement request to have the Attribute Table updated. If you run the Build Raster Attribute Table tool, you will get the updated information. Patrick

anotehr note! i switched the origional raster to be of type GRID instead of being TIF...! then it did work!!!! but does this make any sense? why the format of the raster is important? why does it affect the result??? please, have alook on the attached image Jamal you have to set the extents explicitly in your Environments to be the extent of the layer used to clip the input raster
