ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2: Why the “service area” group layer is newly created when performing “solve” for the network dataset from the model builder? I observed that the “service area” layer group is newly created when performing “solve” for the network dataset from the model builder. However, as the “solve” is run from the ribbon, no new “service area” group layer is created. What could be the issue here?

I tried all possible symbology ways to see if the result of the “solve” from model can be identical to the one obtained from the “run” from ribbon as the geometry option is set to be “overlap”, but failed. The data is attached

This is a bit perplexing. How come the values of the “cutoff” represent either the distance or the time while the “cost” considers both the impedance (that could be time or distance) and either “time cost” or “distance cost”?

Thank you for the screenshot. Correct, the cutoff is there. I observed that the output of “solve” from the model and in the ribbon are identical only if the geometry option is set to be “dissolve”.

How the ArcGIS Pro display the word “cutoff” for the name of the field based on which the map is symbolized?

ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2: What does the “cutoffs” represent in case the “cost” of the “travel mode” in the “network dataset” includes “impendence” and “time cost” or “distance cost”? I couldn’t figure out what the “cutoffs” represents in case the “cost” of the “travel mode” in the “network dataset” includes “impendence” and “time cost” or “distance cost”? Is the cost “distance” or “time” in this case?

The “travel mode” option is not available in the ribbon under the “service area layer”, even though it is one of the most important settings that is visited frequently during analysis. It would be more helpful if this option was visible in the ribbon, as it would provide more context for the analysis being performed. What do you think?

But how come the “create file geodatabase” overwrites the already existing file geodatabase that has the same name if it runs from the model builder while it provides warning if it is performed as stand-alone tool out of the model? Is this by design? By some settings?

ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2: Based on which field of the attribute table of the polygon layer of the “service area” in the network dataset the map is symbolized by default? I couldn’t figure out based on which field of the attribute table of the polygon of the “service area” in the network dataset the map is symbolized. As per the screenshot below, I observed that the name of the field based on which the symbology is performed is “cutoff”. However, this field is not available in the attribute table of the polygon layer of the “service area” in the network dataset. Additionally, if the symbology is performed based on any other field of the attribute table of the polygon, the result will not match the presentation of the “cutoff” field! What could be the issue here? Is this a bug?

ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2: The result of the “service area” of the network dataset appears to be weird in the zones with no roads network, In the screenshot below, the result of the “service area” of the network dataset based on the given facilities appears to be weird in the zones with no roads network. I was expecting the coverage to by as sketched in the second screenshot. The default length is taken as cost impedance. What could be the explanation for this?
