You can add a new field, even when you have multiple versions. That won't be an issue. The exception to this statement is schema changes. When the schema in a version is changed—for example, by adding a new field to a table—the change applies to all other versions. However, I'm not able to see data updates when connecting to other users / versions. Does this mean that you can see the updates in the View connected as the data owner? How are you connecting to other Versions in the View? What steps are you following? On a general note: Is the data Registered as Versioned? Are you performing the reconcile/post and compress, before checking the View for updates? A database view refers to the base table of the underlying data. If your data is Registered as Versioned, then edits may still be in the A- & D- delta tables. So you need to Reconcile and Post (if editing is done on other versions than DEFAULT) and then perform the compress. ... View more
