Hi Robert, Thanks so much for your response. I was wondering, were you referring to changes made in the web map interface itself or changes to the web map in the underlying JSON through ArcGIS Assistant? I'm aware that swapping out a feature layer in a map will typically break widgets, but what i was wondering is if the layer is not physically changed in the map and just the underlying item id for that layer is pointed to a different service will the widget break? Hi Esri, We need to republish new services which currently are in working web maps and Web App Builders. It appears that there is a workflow that would allow us to dig into the JSON and replace the Item ID in the web map using ArcGIS Assistant. ( Reference: How to replace itemId number in Web Map AGOL directly in JSON ) If we change the Item ID in ArcGIS Assistant will Web App Builder widgets respect this change or will they break? We would just like to know the expected behavior to know the time it may take to rebuild these widgets if we need to. Thanks so much, Amanda

Hi Mark, This story map that is experiencing issues was created using the "Map Tour builder". If I understood your last answer correctly, this shouldn't be having an issue then. Correct? "Map Tours can also be built from scratch from the Map Tour builder, existing web maps, and external sources such as csv files, and those will support the tel protocol." To confirm, I created a new Story Map tour using the builder following the workflow and it still has issues with the HTML. Please see below: Thank you, Amanda

Hi Mark Cooney‌, I apologize, but I am confused. In the link you sent me it states: Allowed protocols for href and src are https, http, tel, and mailto. Are you saying that this is a fundamental limitation of Feature Services and therefore map tour as well? If this is the case, why are other HTML supported in Feature Services and map tour? (https://developerscorner.storymaps.arcgis.com/styling-map-tour-text-with-html-and-css-7b0c57c1b7ad ) Why is the "tel:" protocol specifically throwing this issue? Hi Mark Cooney, Thank you so much for the quick reply. That is intriguing information. The story map is public, but unfortunately I am unable to save to show you. When adding this HTML to the storymap: <a href="tel:17633541054">Listen Here</a> I receive a error message stating: "Save Failed due to an invalid HTML tag in a name or description" and it refuses to save the story until I remove the mentioned above HTML. Thoughts? Thank you again so much for your time. We would love to get this working.

Hi Esri, We have recently brought it to support's attention that the Story Map Tour does not support <a href="tel: as HTML in either the Title or Description text boxes.(All other story map templates do support the tel: protocol). (BUG-000116653) Some background information: We have physical stops with signage for art or features within our parks that allow users to call into a phone number to listen to the audio for that location. Currently we have story map tours that feature these locations and provide contextual information. The ability for users to simply click a link in these story maps and activate the phone call to listen would be extremely beneficial for our user's experience. Please fix this "tel:" protocol issue to allow our users to have a streamlined user experience for our park goers as they navigate our parks using this great story map tour. Issue: When creating a survey using a feature service hosted in ArcGIS Server, federated with Portal for ArcGIS, and added to ArcGIS Online, an error is returned, "Invalid Token". Use Case: We are currently publishing on-premise referenced data from their enterprise database to a portal federated server. This live connection to the data is then viewable in Portal. They are then registering these publicly shared layers with AGOL using the collaboration method, which is the same as manually adding this public service to AGOL or using Python as a transport. Ideally, using S123 for AGOL would provide a more stable platform for us to create our surveys off of, while still maintaining our Federated Server/Portal environment. We do not want to require passing a token as the workaround for this because this is currently not part of our workflow and is the whole reason for distributed collaboration in the first place. At this point we would like to have the opportunity to build a survey off of the AGOL item and share this survey with the community. Thanks so much!

Hi Esri Community, We are currently having issues with a survey in Survey123 which has been shared publicly. This survey was published using Portal S123 Connect (version 2.7.72) from an existing Portal Feature Service (Portal version 10.6). The survey is accessed by users via a web browser. Again, both the feature service, map image service, and survey have all been shared publicly. This survey has been working for the past two months with one token issue last month (which I opened a Support case for Case # 02124389 ). The public survey required a login for an unknown reason, this was resolved with a republish from S123. We kept an eye on this survey and again exactly 1 month later we're experiencing a required sign in for a public facing survey. This time a simple republish is not resolving the issue. When viewing this survey in an incognito browser we see the login screen, and when taking it one step further and logging in we experience this error message: Esri support (Case # 02145603) is telling me that S123 for Portal does not support public facing surveys? I find this hard to believe since it allows the built in option for surveys to be shared publicly and that this has been working roughly for the past two months. Any information or further support would be much appreciated as this is affecting our live data. Thank you.

Hi Esri, We would like to have the ability to create organization-wide style files that can be dynamically updated as the chosen styles may change. This would allow us to create a consistent experience for the general public and promote alignment with our branding. Currently the only way we can add these style files is to add a copy of them to the root folder from the ArcGIS install file on each individual PC. When we change any of these styles, all the copies on different PCs are not updated and need to be manually replaced. Thanks so much!
