thank you all so much for your help....it is greatly appreciated! we are trying to mirror real world servers that everything on the D drive. currently on our local server we have everything on the C drive. so were in the process of moving everything. thanks again for your help! Dave

All, we currently have ArcGIS Desktop and Server installed on the C: drive on a server machine. We also have a site created with services with that install. is there a preferred way moving everything over to the new 😧 drive thats been placed on the machine? thanks for the help, newbie here looking for help! sorry about that everyone, not sure why I put 10.1 in there, it was a copy/past input. we are currently using 10.2.2 here so I hope that clarifies things for everyone. just looking for a good all around intro to get a good base before I take any classes, etc found the following website: ArcGIS for Server 101 didn't know if anyone else had any helpful resources they could share. thanks again! All, i was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction for educational resources for taking the Enterprise Admin Assoc. 10.1 exam? i saw they had an instructor lead course that was about $1000, a little steep right now, wasnt sure if anyone else knew of a good book or website with helpful info? thanks in advance Dave

all, i was looking in the data dictionary for the local govt data model and they only have one field for streets, "full street name" doesnt seem to have any support for the cldxf fields like... Street Name Pre Modifier Street Name Pre Directional Street Name Pre Type Street Name Pre Type Separator Street Name Post Type Street Name Post Directional Street Name Post Modifier dave

All i was just curious as to what GPS units if any people were using to enhance the gps on their mobile device (iOS or Android) while out in the field collecting data? i would be interested in know if people had to try different GPS units, if you werent happy with the first unit or if there were connectivity issues with one over the other. we just did some initial testing with ipads and iphones and used a Garmin GLO that we happen to have on hand in order to enhance the gps. thanks Dave

Joe, sorry it took so long to reply... yes as far as im aware of, CLDXF is a NENA Standard. now im fully aware that the NENA Standards are often time viewed as only "best practice" and not a required standard. Dave

All, beyond all the major talking points of ArcGIS Pro... can anyone help we out with how to sell ArcGIS Pro as a useful too within the company? what would you say to a boss who says well i already have desktop, why should we roll out Pro? thanks Dave

well what i dont understand is why in the new app under "my schedule" why there is no calendar view? the only thing i can do is see a list by day, would have loved to have an actual calendar view! oh well, if you see a new guy at the UC walking around with a lost look on his face...thats me!

Todd, the agenda portion is up and running yes, but the "planner" portion doesn't seem to be active. the funny thing is, it was active when the agenda was first released but then it was taken down. the "planner" function would normally be found on the left hand side with the sessions and activities tabs.
