I get this occasionally as well. Always at the wrong moment. I can never tell if it is me and my corporate firewalls or ESRI being weird. Logging in and out of AGOL and/or the computer sometimes clears it. Sometimes just keep hitting "redo" button or setting up the calc again does it. Very frustrating! Good luck!

Thanks! I can hardly wait...I've never been in this biz with ESRI during a census year!

When will ESRI release their proprietary 2022 USA demographics projections? I assume this will not be the US Census data, which will be in a separate release and series? Usually ESRI releases sometime around UC...is that still the case?

Yeah, this is an old bug I reported years ago, which they had fixed, but it seems broken again as of a few months ago. Seems to affect old map viewer and new one. Please fix again, ESRI! This bug makes group work in AGOL very frustrating!

I was hoping to use Plan Routes for a problem, but the parameters don't seem to allow it? Anybody do anything like: 1. Drivers may start from same HQ building, but I don't care where they end up? Can just hit return to start, but not not necessary. 2. I have a 8 drivers, but I don't care how many hours or days it takes to complete a route. That is, I know they will take multiple days, and I just need to split among 8-10 consultants that will hit the targets over a period of a month or whatever it takes. Is there a way to set up parameters so that I could get answers?

Yeah, absurdly to some degree, the Office plugins don't understand even a simple crosstab. You only see the total column. I don't think they ever fixed this? So, we still have to copy/paste into text, turn to Excel table, then use Office plugins. I can understand the thing not understanding complex, more than 1 level crosstabs, but sheesh.

I hope not!!! It's the only way to do calculations. And I find the new UI in the new thing to be crazy. Cheers!

Today, right now, is another instance of analysis not working. I can't do a simple 10-min drive time on a handful of points. I get a progress indicator, and then it ends with dialog box stating "Error" only. I am on deadline, and 5 minutes of work is impossible. I've logged in and out, tried different machines, etc. Same.

Wow! Thanks! I will test when I get back on site and back to that work. So, an actual bug or hive processing error? I never thought of that... I will answer when I get a chance. I have not experienced another error in the last 2 weeks on drivetimes or other stuff...but the syndrome is always the same: a valid and needed analysis is set up, even an easy one, and it never completes. Sometimes logging in and out helps. Sometimes not. When it happens, it is a real bummer...we simply can't do our work, which is often on short deadlines. Thank You, I'll answer back when I get a chance.

I get similar from time to time--exactly when I am on a deadline. Analysis tools simply don't complete. You can leave them all night, still won't complete. Even a mundane calculation like a drive time will hang...no errror message, just the rotating cursor next to the greyed out new layer the function is creating. Logging in or out, sometimes helps, sometimes not. Can happen at work on any of my various computers, or at home on my Mac. Firefox and Chrome...when it happens...it happens...and very frustrating. Did you ever get a good answer to your query?

Yeah. I let a "summarize within" run overnite, and it still didn't complete. All it had to do was find the points of around 10k points that were in a 20-mile radius circle. But it has also happened on mundane analysis functions like creating a drive-time. I couldn't get "summarize" to run, but I could get "aggregate" to work. I got my numerical answer, but never got my point set to go along with it. I've seen several other analysis questions posted the last few days...something must be going on.

Anybody having lots of difficulty completing calculations done with analysis functions? Very often the last few months it seems like when I kick off a calculation, drive time, aggregation, etc. it will start off fine, but never complete. The little "working" revolver just keeps on going forever. Often the layer will appear in the content, and looks ok, but later checks show that the calculation is wrong. E.g. I know there's 50 dots in the area, but the incomplete layer shows only 35. Clearly they are not completing. I can log in and out, do lots of stuff, but it doesn't seem to help except randomly. And it is the same from work vs at home--home is on a Mac with Firefox. Work is Chrome latest 64-bit version. What is going on? Today I blew about 50 credits on junk answers. How do we fix this? If I were to let it run for an hour or so, sometimes it will complete...but that is ridiculous. These calculations should take maybe 30 or 45 seconds. Thank You.

I need to get the business points for large employers in my area. However, if you recall, the flow for BAO starts out with asking if you want to narrow by NAICS or include all. I need to include all. Then it populates the map, to the limit of 5000 businesses. Only then can I say I only want firms with 100+ employees or something. So I know most of my targets will not be there, since they got clipped off by the limit of 5000 points. Is there any way to put the limit of 100+ employers first, then I will never even hit 1000 points. It's like the query flow is sort of backwards for a lot of searches.
