OK. Below are the notification windows I got when I tried to publish it, and attached is the log file. Recall that this survey did exist in my Portal account, but I deleted it a couple of days ago so I could start from scratch. The Publishing window took about a minute to get to the full process bar, then hung there until I x’d out of it about 3 minutes later.

Hi James, In my flailing around I found that there were 2 json files in the AppStudio/Settings folder. When I deleted these, restarted, etc the missing forms showed up. It happened again, but I seem to have resolved it by cleaning a lot of old forms out. Related to this, I could use a brief primer on how the form folders relate to the feature services and uploads to my Portal account. I you can link me to something that would be great. Specific questions: 1. I am not sure how the folders that look like feature service URLs relate to my forms. See screen shot below. a. The *26cc folder is in 2 places and both appear to be copies of Headbox 2018. And in My Survey Designs in the Connect interface, the Headbox 2018 form is presented twice. b. The *192c folder appears to be the result of my attempt to download a form I had published, but was no longer on my computer. The download hung up and I had to close Connect, and the folder is empty. 2. When I delete a published form completely in my Portal account, then try to republished it with the submission_url setting, it messages me that it is updating the form with the new url, but just hangs up and never finishes. When I create a new survey from an existing one in Connect it does not show up in the list of forms. If I try to create it again I get the message that the name has to be unique. By opening the file manager I can see that the folder has been created and populated. When I right click on the xml and try to launch it with Connect, Connect launches, but not the form. I have uninstalled/installed Connect, deleted the installation folder, rebooted the machine after each of these actions, cleared all the Survey123-related Windows credentials to no avail. Now when I launch Connect I get no forms until I sign in. Then I get the forms for that user. If I sign out after that I will see more forms, but still not the ones I have created. Stuck!

Has something changed with the barcode scanning function since last winter? We are using the same devices and the same barcode scanning app as last year, when it worked quite well. Now it has a narrower effective window (the red framing brackets) and will only capture the scan with the tablet held in landscape mode. It is clunky enough to be borderline unusable. The scanning app, QR Code Reader, is quite snappy in it's capture in either orientation. The tablet we are using is a Samsung Tab S2 and the Survey123 version is 3.0.149. Thanks for any feedback.

Connect is no longer allowing me to sign in. It's not that it has an issue with my credentials, it's that the link to the sign in interface is dead. I have rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc, etc to no avail. I don't have this problem with Survey123 desktop or with signing in to my accounts via a web browser. I checked with a colleague that they are not experiencing this issue. I now have several instances of the software showing up in the Control Panel, but all respond with the error message that the uninstall file can't be found. Please advise. Thanks!

We would like to be able to launch 2 different mobile apps (Recreation Compass and Avenza Maps) from within Survey123 so less tech-savvy staff can more directly access on-line and off-line maps. Is this possible? I saw posts regarding launching Survey123 from other apps, but not the other way around. Thanks.

Resolved: I had inadvertently changed the path of the identified workspace by one letter e.g., arcpy.env.workspace = r"D:\WildlifeHealth\CWD_2017\GIS\RandomLocWork\Processing.gdb" vs arcpy.env.workspace = r"D:\WildlifeHealth\CWD_2017\GIS\RandomLocsWork\Processing.gdb". I am still curious about the error message though. I have never seen it before and was unable to find any reference to it. Thanks. Bob

Greetings. I am getting this error when I do a Select_analysis on a polygon feature class. I scoured the web and cannot find a reference to what this means. Trying to write to a feature class that already exists? Below is the code and message. It is crashing on the last line of the code. Greetings, I am trying to publish a form with a very large number of cascading select records (over 12,000) and receive this error when I attempt to publish. I have all the records in the choices tab because apparently there is a bug in the external_choices functionality that does not display/record integer values properly. See attached. Note that the form has the same name as the error code. Any suggestions? Thanks. Bob
