Um potentially! I haven't tried it but if there's probably a way to do it using a Join if there's a common attribute. Carmel

Hi Jeremy, In the ArcGIS Online settings for changing the Short Name: "This functionality is intended for new organizations with little content or customization. Consider this change carefully if your organization is more mature and has extensive content. If you want to proceed with this change, some of your organization's content and resources may reference your old short name and will require manual updating. After changing your short name, be sure to alert your members that they may need to sign in again and update any bookmarks pointing to your organization." So it sounds like some re-configuration will be required. I had a go with a trial account because I was curious. I created some data, a web map, added an image, and created a Cascade story map using all 3 items. When I set the name change I get: The name change was immediate and the all my items worked exactly the same. If I browse to a private item with the old URL, a constant redirect happens to log in. If I browse to a public item with the old URL, it still loads - I can't say for sure that this will remain working. I'm assuming it all still works because the app is referencing Item IDs and not URLs. You can look at the JSON of your items using ArcGIS Online Assistant . Changing your short name is only recommended for new organisations or those with little content, so if you change it, you have to be aware that it may not work as intended. Carmel

Hi Michael, You don't have to use it exactly that way - If you check out the layer, you'll see that there are 5 layers within it: The Citations contains the information for all the Imagery Basemap resolutions, you can add this layer to your webmap seperately (https://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServer/4) through Add > Add Layer from Web. This layer has no symbology but gives you the pop up functionality. You could add the layer in 3 times and use scale thresholds & filters so the relevent pop up only appears at the right scale. Hi Ryan, Are you editing in ArcGIS Online? The Join Features—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS tool is something you could use after editing to pull the City field into the point layer as a new output. I'm not aware of a way to do it automatically as you edit in ArcGIS Online but the Attirbute Assistant might be helpful if you're using ArcGIS Desktop: Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions Carmel

Oh I forgot that option exists! I can't see anything in the help that mentions attachments, potentially it's not included yet as the functionality itself is relatively new. Are they a large number of attachments? Is adding them individually out of the question? Carmel

Hi Jeremy, Where did you run the Append tool and what version was it? Since 10.5, ArcGIS Desktop has a Maintain Attachments option that carries the attachments over:Append—Help | ArcGIS Desktop If you're on a previous version, there's this workflow: How To: Retain all attachments when combining feature classes containing attachments using the Append tool which you could use with the ArcGIS Online feature service by making it a local copy for editing: Making a local copy of a feature service for editing—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop I have got this to work successfully before, but I'd recommend trying it with a dummy feature service first Carmel

Hi Greg, You can do this through the use of Custom Attribute Displays in the layer's Configure Pop Up option. This blog covers it really well: Crafting custom attribute displays in pop-ups The section called 'Adding links from fields' will cover what you're looking for, but you'll use the same field name for the URL and the Description, similar to this: Carmel

Hi Frank, The Compare application is available through ArcGIS Online as well. To access it, log into ArcGIS Online > Content > Create > Using a Template > Compare Maps/Layers > Select the Compare Analysis app > Create Web App > Define a Title and Tags > Done > The Compare Analysis builder will launch > Select the web maps you want to display (You can choose 1-4 maps) > OK > Go to the Options tab > Deselect 'Add sync tool' and 'Auto sync maps' > Click Save and Launch to see the app in action. You'll be able to add the URL of the app to any of your Story Maps or just access it directly. If you need more detailed assistance, I'm sure your local Tech Support team would be more than happy to guide you or do a screenshare: Esri Support Contact Support Carmel

Interesting - now when you say a Personal account, do you mean you've purchased a ArcGIS for Personal Use license: ArcGIS For Personal Use? When you sign into ArcGIS Online: https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html , do you have an Organisation tab?: If you do, can you navigate to Organisation > Settings > Security > Social Logins > Configure: Is this option enabled or disabled? If you don't have an Organisation tab, you've got an ArcGIS Online Public Account which has limited capabilities, such as not having access to Collector for ArcGIS. Carmel

Hi Frank, The app you're using isn't the Compare Configurable App - it looks like one of the StoryMap apps: Apps | Story Maps, potentially the Story Map Swipe and Spyglass | Story Maps app? I don't believe you can stop maps from syncing together when using the Swipe app, but you can using the Compare app and my instructions in my last comment! If I've picked up anything incorrectly, can you see more screenshots to clarify? Carmel
