Does anyone know if there is a timeline for the 4.x version of the GeoForm? We use it for a few things and I have ideas for more uses but some of the 4.x enhancement milestones on the GeoForm github repo are 5 years old. I wouldn't be shocked if development is being dropped in order to lead people to use Collector or Survey123 instead which would require $350/user Field Worker licenses rather than an $200/user Editor licenses.

I always add an Exports folder to my Pro projects with sub folders by layout. It would be nice if the export dialog had a home button like the add data dialog so you can jump to the project root if it’s navigated elsewhere when you open it.

Yeah that's what I want to avoid if I can. If it was already something I've developed I might consider going that route but I hate propagating tweaks between WAB versions. I think I'm going to go the route of custom popups in the AGOL map and tacking on a parameter to the end of the URL in the anchor. URL Rewrite can filter on parameters and the popup config is behind the in app Portal security so its hidden enough for me.

The problem is that there is no referer. Browsers take the URL and send the GET from a new tab without any reference to the application. I've set up filters with URL Rewrite on REMOTE-ADDR when the client is all from a single IP but in this case the IP is the client wherever the link was clicked. I may have to result to adding a URL parameter in the popup definition to the links and catching that if I cant find a better thing to catch.

I have a WAB (developer edition, version 2.8) application showing features that have the URL of PDFs in a folder on my IIS10 webserver. When you hit one of the links it opens in a new tab so on the server I do not get any referrer information in IIS. I want to be able to log where the hits to the PDFs are coming from. Ultimately I would like to have the PDFs only available from within the app.

Is this expected behavior or a bug? Its really irritating. I took screen shots of the attributes pane before and after splitting a line using the split tool. I clicked the point on the line where I wanted to split it then took the second screen shot. Before split: After Split:

I was coming to create this same idea. When appending I often wish I could put in a value for a field in the target that doesn't have something to map into it.

ArcGIS Online should allow for dates to be stored in hosted services as ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssTZD) so that the AGOL front end correctly displays dates as they are recorded. It is silly to make users recalculate their date fields to account for timezones before publishing because the AGOL databases dont store timezone data. Having the time zone data stored with the date makes the calculation converting the presented date into local time no more difficult for the software. There is a similar idea here.

It would be nice to have a "restart" option rather than just stop and start on services. Sometimes one will hang and being able to take it down and bring it back up with one click would be useful. It would be best to have restart and recycle options so you could have a service that is being sluggish do a recycle which will wait until there is not usage to do the restart.

I agree. It seems like an obvious setting to include in the GUI or at the very least have in the code. Its absurd that every version of WAB we have to find a new way to hack the color change into the widget.

What is a good way to pull the existing label definition from the service though? I have the labels configured at publishing and can access that information from the REST. I am trying to build a reusable app with a simple config file rather than hard coding in this sort of set up.
