Hi - I have an established Survey which was published from Connect a couple of years ago. In the survey I created some Select_one questions with a coded number for the name and a descriptor in the label as shown below:- As I now want to chart these numbers in Operations Dashboard I realise that Operations Dashboard/ArcGIS online will display the LABEL rather than the NAME (coded value domain), and the field has been automatically recorded as a string. After doing some research I understand that to undertake numerical reporting, I could/should have specified that the question should treat the field as an integer, rather than its default field type of string - but I was not aware of this at the time and the survey now has a number of dependencies. So my question is - how do I go about utilising these coded values for reporting? Can I add another hidden question/expression field to display the coded values rather than the name? Any assistance would be welcome, thanks, Tom.

Hi David, Thanks for the reply. I was able to add a fixed value reference and conditionally format it so that the background colour changed. However, I am trying to create a threshold for a range of values rather than an individual value. I want to apply a threshold to each Indicator where below 3 is to be coloured red, between 4 and 5 is to be yellow and between 6 and 8 is to be green. Is there any way I can apply more than one fixed value reference to each Indicator in the dashboard (a range of values)? Or can you only apply one? Thanks, Tom

Hi, Is it possible to conditionally format the background colour of an Indicator in Operations Dashboard? I am trying to use the Indicator to live update and change background colour (like a traffic light system) i.e. over a certain value, the background colour will change to yellow, or below a certain value will change to red. Below is an example of the type of indicators and the traffic light system. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, yes I wasn't aware of that limitation. I'm trying to share the survey form publicly without making the associated hosted feature layer publicly available (but the survey was published from Connect so I can't seem to find a way of achieving that). Seems like that is an acknowledged limitation of using Connect but I need the extra functionality (cascading selects and some calculated fields) so that leaves me a bit stuck. Tom

By way of update I thought I would upgrade to the latest software for Survey123Connect and republish the survey to see whether that would fix the public sharing. Now when I launch the web survey, the survey appears briefly and then switches to this new message screen below without any prompt for login:- Here is the link to the survey https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/56883c4a36c04a11b21c9bb9c12b4de4 The survey is still running OK in the Survey123 app. Tom

Thanks, that created the fieldworker view, and the fieldworker view and corresponding form have been shared publicly. However, when opening the form in a web browser I am still prompted for an account login. I am intending to share the form publicly. Do you have any other suggestions to pinpoint a possible solution to the public sharing issue? Appreciate your assistance with this. Thanks, Tom

Thanks Brandon, I've been assigned 'Creator' role with the description below. As mentioned though, the ability to publish publicly has been assigned to the Administrator of the account only. Regards, Tom

Hi, I have a survey created in Connect which I'm trying to create the fieldworker view by also enabling public sharing under 'Collaborate' in survey123.arcgis.com. The survey has been enabled for public viewing in AGOL by my account administrator. I am the owner of the survey, but because I am not Administrator of the account the option for public sharing is not available under 'Collaborate'. My survey does not appear when the Administrator of the account logs in under survey123.arcgis.com. Is there a way to create the fieldworker view in this scenario? Thanks, Tom

Hi Jonathon, my situation is similar (form created in Connect) and wanting to create a fieldworker view. But I am not administrator of my organisational account. So I had the account administrator publish the survey form only in ArcGIS online as below, but when I open the survey in survey123.arcgis.com, because I am not the Administrator of the account, I don't have the public sharing options under the Collaborate view. Is there another way to create the fieldworker view from a survey created in Connect? Thanks, Tom
