Survey123 builds relationships based on `globalid` to `parentglobalid` fields. ObjectID is not part of the relationship class. You can join in arcgis pro based on those fields, or use something like xlookup()in excel. Here is an example: Sheet_1 ("Stations") contains a list of stations with a globalid. Sheet_2 ("Survey Results") contains survey results with a parentglobalid, which refers to the globalid in the "Stations" sheet. Sheet 1 ("Stations") Station Name globalid Station A 123abc Station B 456def Station C 789ghi Sheet 2 ("Survey Results") Survey Date parentglobalid Result 2024-01-01 123abc Pass 2024-01-02 456def Fail 2024-01-03 789ghi Pass 2024-01-04 123abc Pass You want to lookup the corresponding Station Name in Sheet 1 for each survey in Sheet 2 using the relationship between parentglobalid (in "Survey Results") and globalid (in "Stations"). In Sheet 2, to lookup the Station Name for each survey based on the parentglobalid, you can use the following formula in a new column (e.g., in cell D2 of "Survey Results"): =XLOOKUP(B2, 'Stations'!B:B, 'Stations'!A:A, "Not Found") Explanation: B2 The parentglobalid value in "Survey Results" (Sheet 2). 'Stations'!B:B: The column in "Stations" (Sheet 1) that contains the globalid. 'Stations'!A:A: The column in "Stations" (Sheet 1) where we want to return the Station Name. "Not Found": Optional message if a matching globalid is not found. Survey Date parentglobalid Result Station Name 2024-01-01 123abc Pass Station A 2024-01-02 456def Fail Station B 2024-01-03 789ghi Pass Station C 2024-01-04 123abc Pass Station A

Simplest way would be to create a feature report. More complex would be to use power query or xlookup in excel to join the data into one table. Alternatively, you could use arcgis python api to combine the data and export into excel.

When I have to deal with situations like this, I general let the crews record lines or points and then use scripting to post process the data and snap it to the actual geometry of the network. so not real time in the field, but requires less work on the field side. as MobiousSnake mentioned, quick capture is good for roadside surveys like this. Combine that with some scripted post processing and it's a pretty reliable way to record such data.

I disagree - I use it all day everyday and it's really not bad once you are used to it.

Something bizarre is going on with webforms with geopoints. Getting thousands of requests like you are showing. But only if a geopoint question is present. Not an issue in the field app either.

What I have trouble understanding is why web app builder editor widget, which has many of these functions already (merge, split, freehand draw, etc) and can be used by mobile workers is now being offered as a new "advanced editing" stand alone app. All these functions I consider "basic geometry editing" yet they are not offered with current editing tools. How does ESRI draw the line of what is basic vs advanced? I really don't like the justification that different users need different editing tools. If mobile workers are able to correct their data with better tools, we wouldn't need to have another user come in and alter their data. Why not a compromise of an addon license? Why should I pay an additional expensive licensing fee for functionality a field user may only need occasionally? Really hope ESRI reconsiders, because we will have to develop custom tools or pay for 3rd party services if not.

Agreed - this is a pretty critical UX issue and should have been addressed long ago. The whole survey123 download surveys workflow is convoluted and frustrating to users (and me).

I pull my companies internal project number system as an external csv. All my forms have project number as a dropdown as a required question, which allows me to use it for many projects. For photo repeats, I always include a geopoint - which makes it much more accessible to users in the front end. I also include a note in the form itself that displays the version number so I can ensure people are up to date. This is necessary because many of my forms launch from field maps or QR code and it skips the details page.

Yep - same issues for us today. Dozens of field staff unable to download offline areas. GIS staff unable to append data. Very frustrating.

This appears to be an issue on ESRI's side. See the status page: ArcGIS Online Health Dashboard Here is what we got back from ESRI when we submitted a ticket INC-001547: Asynchronous operations are slow to complete on all service endpoints.

We have been having issues with this for past 24 hours. I believe it is related to ESRI server/system issues on AGOL. INC-001547: Asynchronous operations are slow to complete on all service endpoints.

Unfortunately - really only way around this is via multiple maps. a potential work around would be to set-up a arcgis python api script that generates a web map based on the layers a user specifies. That could be published as a tool for users to run, pre field work. Another suggestion would be to minimize the amount of reference data they need to download. Publishing tiles/vector tiles can help minimize the download size. Removing layers like hybrid reference labels can also take down the size quite a bit.
