As an ex graphic designer myself, I think what I would do in this case is have a page size of your entire unfolded brochure. Use guides, which can be pulled out from the page rulers, to lay out the two sides of the brochure. On the front side, you can have the text boxes, one of which will include the dynamic text for the label address. On the back side will be your data frame which will include the parcel shapefile used to drive the pages, and any other layers you need. It's fine to have the parcels in one shapefiles, in fact data driven pages will be based on one shapefile. Just make sure that the parcels for each client are one feature. If a client has several parcels, you may actually want to dissolve on client name. ... View more

Hi Rosalind, this is actually a quite complex problem. One idea for getting the data on the map, is to do table joins, based on the location fields. For example, say you have a feature class of villages, and your data about people contains birth/live/work fields with village names. You can join right click the villages layer, and select join, then join to the people layer based first on birth location. Then you can save this joined layer as a feature class called birth. You can remove the join to the villages, and then join again based on the live field, etc. ... View more

Hey Shannon, making a file geodatabase is easy. Simply right click in the ArcCatalog window, and choose new-->file geodatabse, and then name it as you would any other folder. You can import your shapefiles and rasters into there by right clicking them and choosing export, and you can save the results of tools or geoprocessing into it by navigating to it in the tool dialog, or setting it as your default workspace in your geoprocessing environment settings. I have no idea if it would have solved this particular issue, but storing your data layers in a file geodatabase will improve certain functionality, so it's a good practice to get into. Hi Jamal, I found this possible answer on a similar thread: "Can you confirm that you added a map to a project? If the only context menu option that is available to you is the "Add to New Map" option, then you either don't have a map in your project, or a map is present but not open. On the Insert tab on the ribbon, click New Map. This will add a new map to the project and open it. Then you can drag/drop a feature class to a map, or right-click it and click "Add to Current Map". ... View more
